[update 2025AUG02] Ahi tuna wrap with extra sauce on side, pressed ham n cheese sandwich, and loaded potato skins were all great. Again, food from a bar that is better than many restaurants.

[update after apparently eight years] I can't play darts or pool and rarely go to bars any more but wish that I'd remembered the food here before now. Got takeout ahi tuna wraps, spicy garlic wings, and a "bear" sandwich and they were all great, as in as as good or better than I'd expect from a dedicated restaurant with similar food despite not getting the extra wasabi sauce for the wraps. I rarely eat out but don't know of a local restaurant with these items this good and will definitely order here again.

Great comfortable good-sized bar with pool tables and nice dart boards. I've only tried a few offerings, but from what I've tasted, the food is anywhere from well above average for a bar to better than some good full-on restaurants, especially their ahi tuna wrap, which is the main reason I haven't tried too much else, although get it with extra sauce on the side for dipping. Toodie and the staff at CP are amazing! We held a 10 high school reunion happy hour there and Toodie helped to plan every detail to ensure we had a great event. She made our lives so easy and gave us a great price for everything. I worked with Toodie over the phone and via email planning the details leading up to our event. She always returned my calls in quickly. We experienced that same great customer service by the staff. Once we arrived, the staff was so helpful and catered to our group's every need. I love how they have activities such as dart boards already there. The spouses at our reunion did not feel uncomfortable because they didn't know anyone. They just bonded over some of the games already set up in Corner Pocket. We had so much fun that no one wanted to leave to go to the next event. The staff allowed us to stay with our food set up way past the time that we reserved space for. They did not try and nickle and dime us at all. We got great, quality, fresh food at a great price. BEWARE: They DONT APPRECIATE LONG TIME CUSTOMERS ANYMORE AND REFUSE YOU SERVICE FOR NOT TIPPING ENOUGH. Go to a competitor instead, you'll get better service. My order was 19 dollars, I handed the bartender a 20 and said "no change." Her response wasn't "thank you," it was "well it was 19 dollars so there basically isn't any change." After that point she told me she was cutting me off, when I asked her what I had said or done wrong, she said there wasnt anything wrong with my behavior, just that four drinks was enough. It's obvious she booted me from her bar because she was unhappy I tipped her a dollar.

Personally I'm going to Beef o Bradys from here on out and so are all my friends and coworkers. It might be a corporate chain, but it isn't far away and at least there you are treated with dignity and not treated like dirt for ordering more than two drinks and/or tipping your inattentive bartender a dollar on a cocktail and a beer pour.
