Read moreBetween their pour your own drafts and mind-blowing specials, 7th Hill Taproom brings some unique to Tallahassee that will keep me coming back. Intrigued by a "Beers against Humanity" event that they hosted last week, I decided to stop in and see what this new bar was all about. Honestly, I could not have been more surprised. I first tried out pour your own style bars back in San Diego where I worked for a while and loved them. 7th Hill has these as well, loading a card and then pouring your own drafts, paying by the oz. I look forward to many more nights hanging out here and trying cheap,...
Read moreA great, relaxed bar serving draft and canned/bottled craft beers unlike anything else we have in Tallahassee. It's small, but rarely so crowded it's uncomfortable. There's a handful of tvs if you want to catch your favorite game, a couple of dart boards, and a shuffle board table. There's two ways to get a brew: choose from one of the 14 options from the pour your own taps. Or choose from the additional selections available behind the bar. They also have inexpensive wine and a nitro coffee (non-alcoholic) from a local roaster. Food orders come from corner pocket upstairs or people often grab a pizza from next door. There's generally only one bartender/staff member, but they're great at taking care of the entire place solo. If it's crowded and everyone wants drinks from behind the bar, be patient. Worth a visit if you're looking to watch a soccer game or want a casual hangout with a...
