Update: hostesses don't know how to do their job and are extremely rude. Every time we give this place another chance they make the same mistakes. After waiting 45 minutes in the sun for a table this morning, multiple parties who had just shown up were sat simple because they wanted to make sure we didn't have a table bigger than a 2 top. That is not how the service industry works - it is first come, first serve. They should be able to stand a few empty chairs. After all that the hostess couldn't be bothered to apologize or really even acknowledge our existence. It seems bada bean isn't interested in respecting their customers or improving their experience.

I can't even count how many times I've been to Bada Bean. My boyfriend and I keep coming back because we love the food and the coffee bar. However, their slow service almost negates all that. Unless you come after noon, you will have to wait, outside, for a table for probably 60 minutes. Whenever I do go inside, I always see empty tables. This is very frustrating. The servers are normally quick and so is the kitchen, but there have been occasions when we have to wait because the kitchen is backed up and then we sit waiting and watching person after person coming to pick up a to go order. So once I tried to do that. They made both of the items I ordered wrong and I had to wait 15 mins for them to remake it. I get that they don't want to open another location, but they need to expand somehow. They need to stop doing pick up orders when they can't handle the demand from the restaurant itself and they need to hire a...

Okay, so I took my family and OMG, everyone's plate was clean. Nobody had a carryout box. They should have just licked the plate to top it off😁😆🙃. Now, they don't want to eat breakfast anywhere else in Tallahassee. Bada Bean, watch out, you've spoiled my family. You're definitely second to none, with us. YOU ARE AWESOME. EVERYTHING WAS AWESOME.

OLD POST: I enjoyed them so much the 1st time I brought my son. If you haven't been here, you are simply missing out. I think this is one of the best breakfast spots in Tallahassee. I've been to some of the others, and Im loving me some Bada Bean. If you have not tried them, hopefully you will. Bada Bada da, I'm loving it.

OLD POST: So I once again Google for a vegan breakfast, and Bada Bean popped up on the list, so I figured I'll give them a try today. It's a small quaint spot with a big taste. I observed the atmosphere, and everyone seemed to be enjoying breakfast. Service seemed quick, but needless to say, I Loved My Food. It was delicious 😋. Now you know I'll be going back for the dine in experience . Go ahead and give them a try,...

First off me and three others walked in, Jessie told us it would be a 5-10 minute wait. Which was fine, because we had to wait for a 4 top table. Two couples came in and sat down at two four top tables. We went back in and Jessie said yet again, “how many.” We finally got sat. We got our drinks and coffee. Jessie continuously ignored us when our friend got their hot lattes when they wanted iced & we’re never asked. We spoke to the manager and she was the sweetest and most helpful sg that point. When we got our checks she messed up AGAIN by adding my hoodie coffee to the other check, she “fixed” it and when we got the new ones, my check had the hot lattes on it & when I said something she said she was just gonna discount it. Overall Jessie’s service was horrible, but the food was terrific. We were the only table of hers that she messed up on. I’m not from here and my friend talked this place up. If I ever come back up, I’ll eat there but I will not have Jessie’s service again....

I really enjoyed The Bada Bean. It's a nice local place, tucked in a small plaza. The atmosphere is inviting, especially for breakfast when the sun is still low over the restaurant. The staff in general was very nice. Our waitress was cool, and she made sure our drinks were kept full when they got low. The menu is decent sized, but pretty much everything on it is quality. I decided to get the Farmers breakfast skillet and a 2 stack of cinnamon roll pancakes. Both were excellent. The skillet came out hot, and the ingredients tasted fresh, and the home fries were nice and crispy. The biscuit was very fluffy and soft. The pancakes tasted like cinnamon rolls, which is what it was supposed to taste like, which is great. The prices weren't too bad either. I would've given it a five star rating except I found a hair in my pancakes, otherwise I was happy with everything! Definitely give them a try, I doubt the hair is a regular occurrence!

The Bada Bean is a nice place down Appalachee to get a full breakfast. A unique thing about this place is their selection of five different roasts of coffee with varying caffeine levels. The bada best only had half a cup left in the container and it was never refilled our whole time there so I had the morning brew as well and both were great. The country fried steak was tasty but had a bit too much pepper. The Bada Breakfast came with French toast, bacon, sausage, and eggs but I substituted the eggs for home fries. The French toast was good, it had their signature cinnamon butter on top. The sausages were flavorful and the bacon was excellent. It was firm but not crunchy like it was burnt. The potatoes were some of the best breakfast potatoes I’ve had, they had a nice crunch and were seasoned expertly.
