Moe's Southwest Grill — Restaurant in Tallahassee

This used to be the last good Moes location in tallahassee. They always had great employees, who were great at their jobs. Things have changed since my last visit.

I came in this afternoon on my lunch break to order a burrito to go, and as I worked my way down the line with the woman working we got to the cold ingredients and I asked for onions. She said “we don’t have fresh onions, only the cooked onions”, so I asked “ what happened? I always get the same thing and you alway have onions.” At this point, A guy who wasn’t helping me and was working on someone else’s order yelled at me “we ain’t got onions!”. That was it for me, there’s a way to talk to somebody, and this guy didn’t do that correctly. I told the woman making my burrito that I no longer wanted it, and I walked out of the store shaking my head. Of course the guy who yelled at me had to make a comment about my shaking head, so I turned around and let him know there’s a right way and a wrong way to talk to people and he needs to learn the difference.

It really is a shame, because this was the last Moe’s in Tallahassee with decent service. I feel bad for the girl working the resister and frying the chips. I’ve seen her there before and she’s a hell of a worker, it’s a shame that ownership have given her such a bad group...

The local OWNER of this franchise should be EMBARRASSED This is an owner issue for how badly this place is running. I lost track of how many different variations of sorry I got from the two staff workers that wanted the other person to make food. Several food items were not prepared. Had to wait for 5 minutes for food to be prepared. No regular size drink cups so the staff tried to charge me the cost for a large!!! No receipt given as machine was broken. A No Ice note was on the drink machine and was not offered ice at the counter. Had to go back. Then found that more than half of the sodas were not available. Salsa bar was empty. Salsa was all over the counter. Lemonade containers were empty and left open to the elements. Tables and bench seats are damaged and dirty if you decide to din-in. Floors were sticky with food and trash laying on the ground. At this point I had to go to the bathroom just to see if there was any bright spot I could bring up. The soap containers were on the sink and not in a wall holder. Finally, there was 3 staff members in the back that would come out to watch the two working staff struggle and go back to the back. Maybe they weren't...

So I got a text stating that I can get a bowl or burrito for $5.55 I'm working so I'm like yes I'm starving let me run over here real quick and pick up one of these bowls. I get to the store the lady's telling me oh she don't know nothing about that blah blah blah blah blah. So I show her. I'm like Ms.. I have a text she's like do you have an app I said yes so there's a guy standing on the side which I found out his name was Ryan he said he's the store manager so he's like well I don't think we're going to be able to honor it I was like oh really I'm like oh okay I take my phone and I leave because I'm not going to argue with you when I have it in writing I'm going to head to corporate but I wanted to put this up here first. First of all how do you say You're not going to honor something that's in writing that you will sent me? So now I'm just going to take it up with corporate I don't have time to argue...
