amazingly disrespectful crew. I ordered 3 smoothies, the cashier only rang up 2. So I had to place another order (no problem really mistakes happen). When my smoothies came up I went to get my food and the asian lady (I didnt catch her name because she walked away as soon as she could) who was making the smoothies stopped me from getting my second order telling me very rudely "Not you." I tried to explain I placed a second order and she cut me off midsentence with an even ruder and louder "NOT YOU!", I then told her if she would let me finish my sentence that I had placed 2 orders. She didnt believe me and consulted the cashier before realizing her mistake. without apologizing at all for how she treated me she quickly went into the back room. I am absolutely appalled at the lack of customer service and the utter rudeness of this employee. I've been going to tropical smoothie for well over 15 years and this store in particular for at least 8 years and I've never seen a more unprofessional team. I ordered 2 items through delivery via the app, and wanted to add strawberries on my PB banana crunch flatbread, but it wasn’t an option in the app(there’s an option to substitute bananas for strawberries, but I wanted both bananas and strawberries so this was not a solution for me). I tried calling the store before I placed my order to see if I could possibly add a side of strawberries or just request them to be added onto my flatbread. The phone was disconnected so I was unable to reach anyone. I called a sister location and they said this happens often at the Ocala location. I asked my delivery driver to request the strawberries for me when they arrived to the store and they were told no, because breakfast items don’t come with sides. I went to this location the other day, and I couldn't believe how awesome the service was. Going in I expected to receive college student quality service at this store, but to my surprise I experienced complete professionalism and hospitality from everyone on staff. Although I going in for just a smoothie, the girl who was taking my order was kind enough to tell me about their latest promotions and even went as far to giving me a sample of their tasty noodle bowl. With very little convincing I couldn't help but order the whole special, costing me only 9.99 for the entire combo. The smoothie was both speedy and delicious and the noodle bowl was fresh and almost too big to eat whole thing.
