First and foremost I like Panera Bread, their menu suits my diet and since moving here I've been a frequent customer at this particular location. I ordered the Tuna sandwich, chai tea and broccoli mac & cheese. When my food arrived the driver called upon arrival as I instructed, however after checking my food when he left I discovered I had broccoli and cheese soup and not Mac & cheese. I called this location, and the associate I spoke to was actually the one responsible. They took full responsibility and sent the driver out again with my mac & cheese along with 3 free cookies and a coupon for a free pick 2 items. I was very understanding of the fact that everyone makes mistakes and I was glad they resolved the matter the way they did, especially considering this the third bad experience I've had with them. The first was when I ordered a chai tea and it took them forever to bring it. First of all I didn't even know they had delivered it and I discovered the tea on the ground spilled in the bag like someone threw it and ran. The second experience was another mixup with the Mac & cheese, I got soup instead of the mac & cheese. This time when I got my order for the mac & cheese corrected, I was able to enjoy it while I worked during my lunch. However I never ate my tuna sandwich, it wasn't until now I opened my sandwich to see a long strand of hair in it. I am more than disgusted and even more furious because I try to support this company that I like, but it doesn't seem like they are too keen on basic hygienic and Covid-19 practices. I've gone to fast food restaurants where cashiers who only work at the window are even wearing hairnets, you'd think Panera Bread would hold themselves to a higher standard than this. I will not be ordering from here again, and I expect to be fully reimbursed for...
Read moreNot bad, but not good. This place is the epitome of bland. I had a turkey blt and a french onion soup. The sandwich was ok but the soup was slightly over salty and the onions within were nuked to brownness. The soup came with dry as cardboard bread to dip in and the dipping it in the soup made all the difference. Go there if you have too much money and no desire for your taste-buds to be pushed in any direction. Sorority types also frequent this place.
Update:
I have since returned due to the coffee subscription. I tend to drown my coffee in milk & sugar. Sometimes they upgrade my coffee size without me asking. I have tried their other menu items, the best item I have had so far has been the Spinach & Bacon Souffle. The fruity smoothies are not my thing, and I had better in a bigger size, around the same price, with better flavor and texture at the Smoothie Cafe a couple of doors down. I Stick to their teas and coffee drinks. I would upgrade them a star due to the fact that their salads aren't half bad(I tend to get the sesame or the cobb), and their non-soup stuff like the various baked treats are nice as well, but their prices are high(I wouldn't mind if they pay their workers a living wage), had a worker get glassy eyed before their fellow worker that I was there waiting on them, and their self serve kiosks tend to be down with only 1 or 2 being open. However, I would say that the staff are quite nice.
5 stars for staff, 5 stars for the salads & souffle, 2 for broken kiosks, 2 for lack luster smoothies, and 3 for gumption. 5 stars for all of the sorority types who...
Read moreEveryone knows Panera Bread to be a reliable bite to eat. Every meal is served to order, with your choice of bread, chips, or an apple. Today, when walking into the fast, fresh, and causal chain, we ordered off of the very convenient kiosks. Using these makes it easier to customize menu options and get exactly what you want. We ordered the Mac and Cheese, Chicken Caesar Salad with a Chicken Frontega Panini, Broccoli and Cheddar Soup with a Napa Almond Chicken Salad Sandwich, and a Chicken Noodle Soup. From the bakery, a chocolate chip cookie and a bear claw. The Mac and Cheese is a fan favorite at Panera Bread, with a great noodle to cheese ratio. The cheese is very creamy, but some may say too creamy, but you can use the bread to soak up the extra cheese. The Chicken Caesar Salad was served a little dry but the chicken had an excellent flavor. The Chicken Frontega Panini was slightly burnt on the bottom, but the flavors were delicious and savory. The Broccoli and Cheddar Soup was very thick, as it should be, and tasted great. The Napa Sandwich would have been helped with more wet ingredients, as the filling was a tad dry. The chicken noodle soup was an average soup, not bad but not amazing. The cookie was awful but it was free, they had messed up our other bakery order and offered the cookie as compensation. Today, the bear claw was over-baked but they are usually quite good. If you're looking for a fresh and fast restaurant with lots of variety then go to Panera Bread. -Bradley and Charles, two friends who...
