We dropped by here bc of gf options (Udiās pizza crusts I think). We didnāt realize when we entered how to place worked. We saw the āorder hereā screens and started to place an order but it didnāt have all the options (or they were hard to locate on the appā¦). When we asked how to see a menu the cashier directed us to the website. We realized then that people were walking in and ordering at the counter on the opposite side of the restaurant. So, this place is like Subway. Walk up to the counter, pick all your toppings (and pizza size) and they make it for you right there! Great concept. I think they had vegan options too. Then they put it in the lineup to bake. We got a salad and drinks too. We paid and they brought it to our table. The food came out really fast. The guys making the pizzas were really friendly and patient. The cashier seemed to be new and didnāt jump at the chance to be helpful, but overall experience was good. This is kind of like fast-food pizza, but the ingredients were fresh. I can see how a place like this would be super popular with the college crowd. Itās located in a strip mall next to a lot of chain places. This seems like a chain but not sure if it is a local one or national one. They have maybe 6 bottled beers and a few wines for alcohol choices. Thereās a tap but we were told it was just for looks or something..? Lol, itās super casual with a small patio. Itās loud as itās right next to a busy road, but itās nice to have an outdoor seating option. Great quick place for a quick bite, family dinner or student spot. Pizza was tasty, toppings not chintzy. We ordered two gf pizzas, 2 beers, and 1 large salad. It came to...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWe took advantage of Uncle Maddios' birthday pizza party. We were greeted by Lily and Joshua first. They We delighted to share with us how the kitchen works. They really made my birthday girl Olivia feel so special. She and her brother (Caleb) and grandfather (Papa Ran) were invited back and first washed their hands and were given some gloves to work with. They were shown the dough and the dough roller. After that, they learned how to stretch the dough to size, and then they combined what toppings they wanted. The toppings were endless, btw. Their pizza were run through the oven and then served. Before all the pizza making fun began, Olivia and Caleb were given all sorts of crafting items and were able to decorate an apron. Lots of good fun. While the pizza was finishing, everyone had a chance at making their favorite soft drinks concoctions. Olivia made an orange Pepsi. She loved it. She loved her self built pizza and shared with us that Uncle Maddios is her newfound favorite pizza joint. The restaurant was nice and clean, and Lily and Joshua went the extra mile to really make our time there feel extra special for us. Thanks for creating such a fun and unique experience for a birthday celebration. Uncle Maddios rocks, and is Tallahassees best place in town to satisfy your pizza craving. I also added a pizza order. I ordered the mushroom Truffle pizza. After one bite, this has now become my most favorite pizza. The dough we learned is made fresh daily and the...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI have to say I absolutely love their pizza, i tās wonderful. Always has been. Their staff is friendly and they do a great job. The two star rating is for the sheer disappointment at this time when restaurants should be following safety standards as Florida tries to reopen, and this establishment does NOT. Not one employee was wearing a mask. They did not provide curbside service as stated on the outside of the building, I had to go in and at least I WORE A MASK. The app said that my pick- up was COMPLETE , which it was not. Very disappointed Uncle Maddio. I will not be buying pizza from here during this time of transition since no safety standards are in place.
NOW THAT I HAVE RETURNED A FEW WEEKS LATER DURING THE REOPENING, I guess they paid attention to my review. Because I was glad to see that each and every employee was then wearing a mask. Thank you uncle Maddios for making...
