my husband and I, with our four children, came in tonight for supper. when we ordered, the cashier warned us that there was an hour and a half wait. that was fine, we still wanted Wingstop. we took the kids to the arcade and came back around the time mark. we found a table and waited about ten minutes and our order came out. it was fresh, hot, and with the $80.00 we spent on the amount food, everything came out correctly. there were a lot of angry customers in there and the place was packed. people were fussing left & right for whatever reason. then there was the incident where I had the bags with the extra food we ordered in them on the empty table next to us. an employee came by and picked them up to throw them away. I called for him over and over and ended up screaming, drawing the attention of everyone in the whole place. I was completely embarrassed and I know I embarrassed him as well. he offered to remake the food but by the time we sat down and started eating, it had been TWO hours since ordering and I knew if I got them fixed, they were actually going to be someone elseās order who had been waiting also, so I very angrily told him to just give me a little bit to think.
about ten minutes later, my husband went to the counter and told them what I had in the bag. less than ten minutes later, the guy who originally threw everything away brought out fresh wings for us and even managed to get all their angry customers caught up on food. I apologized to the other customers who told me I shouldāve been nastier, but why? we are literally in the middle of a pandemic and all of these places are under staffed and doing their best. although he shouldāve asked if it was someoneās food, he still fixed my order in a timely manner and made up for his mistake. because people make mistakes.
I decided to write this review, which I never do, because I KNOW that place is getting a lot of backlash tonight and all the employees were upset as well and I wanted to add something positive. everyone was so angry tonight at the employees BUT how many other places are shut down because lack of employees to work? these people choose to work during the darkest of times and canāt even get credit for it.
to the employee that was patient with me and fixed my meal that I sadly yelled at in front of people, thank you for not getting mad at me and fixing our meal and thank you for coming into work tonight. despite the two hour wait to eat, the food and service was worth every penny...

If I wasn't starving and hadn't paid yet, I would be out the door!!! Just wow!!! Customers getting irrate! One asked a question, completely ignored while she's mumbling walking away but I will say the 2 women that are working are overwhelmed and doing they're best...not sure where the original guy that helped me disappeared to and the one other guy...
They definitely need more employees. Door dash and Uber, some picking up several bags in a college town on a holiday, labor day. The two women were working like beasts. I don't know how they did it but they were getting it done, slow but steady. People coming in and complaining did not sit for an hour like I did and come to respect them by the end of my wait...I returned messages and played candy crush and watched a storm blow over. The wings were so hot and delicious as wingstop is know for. Respect to the two lady's getting it done. They need a raise!...

When I came in to place the order none of the staff greeted anyone that came inside they all stood in the back by the fryer having a conversation. After a couple of minutes of me standing there the rude big girl proceeded to come to the front and roll her eyes while taking my order . As I waited for my order I witnessed these employees being rude to customers intentionally not answering the phones saying they closed in an hour they were done and just standing around doing nothing . As a manager myself I figured you would like to know you are wasting your time paying these people .i will say the gentleman making the food (he had medium length dreads) I would have hired myself he was the only good one letting people know about their orders when he could and apologized for the wait be he cannot work on his own !
