The door to this business is locked while two Subway employees are cleaning up at 8:45 pm today July 11th, 2024. While their hours of operation are clearly posted on the door, the Internet and etc it states that the location is supposed to be open until 9 pm. One of the employees working tonight had told myself and the 2 other potential customers trying to get into the Subway to "go to Winn Dixie". It never ceases to amaze me the absolute laziness and incompetence of some employees!
To the owner of this location: There's three customers wanting to spend money on your product yet, your selfish employees would rather clean up and go home then to do the right thing and unlock the door, let them in, make a damn sandwich all while turning a profit for the business. The taller gentleman that told us to "go to Winn Dixie" had also pocketed the $2 upcharge for the smashed avocado that I had ordered on my sandwich about a week and a half ago. Not only are they stealing time away from your hours of operation at your business but this person in particular is actually stealing money from your business as well. Regardless of it being $2 or $2,000 money is money, correct?!?
The realty is that only time will tell how this particular Subway makes out. If the owner does the right thing and terminates both of these two employees working tonight, they might just keep their doors open a little longer at this location. If they continue both of their employment, then that 15 mins and three customers will eventually turn into 30 minutes and 6 to 8 customers....
Personally, this Subway location, you have lost my business and all future business transactions all together. All because of the laziness and incompetence of your employees and the way I was treated tonight. Instead of walking up there to spend my money that I work hard for at your franchise, I will gladly give my business and money to another location or business all together and never visit this location in the Winn Dixie plaza at the Commercial and 31st street in Fort Lauderdale ever again. Read moreReally ticked me off, I went in to order a sub at 10:00 and got the worst customer service of my life. The lady was obviously in a hurry to leave and so was not friendly at all and argued with me and my girlfriend about what we could have on our sandwiches. Then she proceeded to make the sandwiches on a bleachy-watery countertop that was in the process of being cleaned. Our sandwiches were soggy with chemical by the time she tried to order us up and I argued with her for several minues saying I wasn't paying for that, and she refused to make them again.
