I would love to give this negative stars as I've just been delivered rotten food. I tried to explain to them as soon as the delivery guy left that my first bite was clearly off. I opened the spider roll to find it confirmed that the crab was rotten and smelled horrible. After waiting over 10 minutes for the man who picked up to take another order over answering my plea for unspoiled food or refund I finally was able to ask again. He put me on hold again and I hung up and called right back to speak with a woman who said it was fried. I explained that I understand how it works as I ordered the spider roll everytime I order and this is rotten today. Normally I would not make an issue of it but I'm very hungry and at 18 weeks pregnant I think you should know you are serving this food to me rotten and I'm instantly sick and concerned what will happen now to my unborn child. She blamed me saying if I don't like the taste it's not her fault. I explained that I'm not disputing the flavor alone but the quality of the product and that this is clearly expired food I was served and now I'm sick. She said she would exchange my cheap meal and I agreed since I was still Hungry and could not rid myself of the sickening taste and before I could ask what I could safely replace it with she continued to blame me. I said never mind. I do not trust you to safely make my food anymore. Pls just give me a refund so I can go about my day and never do business with you again. She refused and I let her know I would be contacting the health department, which I just did, and she said go ahead and continued to yell at me. Mind you I kept very calm as all I wanted to do was let them know and then rectify the situation. This was the worst experience I've ever had. My office orders from there regularly but we will not any longer. I deserved an apology and refund and/or exchange and instead I was blamed and yelled at and now I'm Concerned for my 18 week child as I've never been in this situation before and still feel ill almost two hours later. Read moreThough I never had a problem with the food, I had one with the service tonight. After placing my order, I was asked if I wanted to leave a tip. I told the man on the phone that I would tip from card once the driver got here. The time I ordered last, the driver told me to order sooner since he could be home right now. I ordered before at 10:30pm, the food got here at 11:20pm, and I did tip him over the phone. The man on the phone asked me which delivery man it was, the old or the young, but I never noticed a difference in their age and told him I will only know until the driver gets here. The man on the phone then tells me the drivers work for tip when they deliver late. I then told him that I am giving him my business, and the driver should not have been disrespectful. I was then hung up on. I called right back to cancel and a woman picked up and told me the food was already made. I told her to refund my money and then she hung up on me. Pay attention to what is in the containers when you get your food because on 2 occasions I found mental from a Brillo pad in food that I have ordered for me and my family. I spoke with a woman who seems to be the owner of the establishment and she was very rude and disrespectful when I expressed I wanted a refund for the food I had to throw away. Asking for a refund from this place seems equivalent to disrespecting their culture because of the treatment you receive trying to get your money back for dissatisfaction of service or food. I don’t think it’s too much to ask for safe food to eat from a restaurant but apparently the owners feel differently about that. I was hung up on and cursed at and lied to because I was told I would receive a refund after 30 minutes trying to explain that I don’t want to reorder food I just want my money and I never received it.
