Very clean restaurantâŚstaff was attentive and friendly! I had the spicy fish (grouper) meal with comes with rice and beans. I ordered some red onions (this doesnât come with the meal). Absolutely delicious. I am coming back with my friends.
Update 8/27/2021 - I came here before work so I can have a nice dinner and I am appalled by the service that I received. I received the right meal with the wrong sauce and instead of correcting it and giving me fresh food I was offered soggy fish that was sitting in box. I waited while the other half of my food got cold. When I ask for a refund, I was told the manager was in the bathroom and She was the only one that can give me a refund . I waited for her to come out and ever after I mentioned I had to go pick up my kids. No one offered to help. I repeated that I had to go and then one of the associate asked me for the receipt and I said why do you want the receipt if youâre not gonna give me a refund. She says â you said you have to go so Iâm gonna give you a refund â Really?!!!! đ˛đ˛đđđ¤¨đ¤¨đ¤¨đ¤¨ So, you could have helped all along?!
At this moment the manager comes out, now Iâm beyond upset because you couldâve helped me all along and you made me wait that long instead of just issuing the refund. I payed with my card, but they refunded me in cash. No one even offered to make me fresh food. It was just a long drawn out explanation about how the spicy fish is made similar to the garlic fish. I donât care. I paid $21.00âŚplease give me fresh food. The manager listened attentively to what I had to say.
I live about 25 minutes from this place and passed other La Granjas just to come here. I order the same thing every time. I donât know what happened this time. Service is important and itâs not worth it even if the food taste goodâŚand to be treated like that. I left hungry, annoyed, upset, and disappointed because you can tell they only wanted to sound right instead of just making the fresh food. One star for that reason. If Iâm provided with better service I will probably think about changing it back but because of poor service, I will never go back to five stars. Maybe update in the future if I feel like trying again.

I didn't complain about the food, but took the leftovers to feed the dog that I do not own. I did complain about the overpriced bottle of water and the manager, "Monica," who desperately needs customer service training took my comments personally and became offended. I'm hoping that this business owners heed this incident as a signal that Monica needs to be reprimanded and needs to understand how to deal with customers like me that commented that the water is highly overpriced. And she also needs to understand that these reviews do affect a business reputation and it's profits, as, due to her highly uptight and confrontational style, leaves much to be desired. She needs to be chastised and trained, if she is to be retained by its corporate owners, as she left a bad taste in my mouth, to the point of deciding not to return to that location. So, therefore, she gets a "0" for her lack of skills in resolving customer complaints. And due to agency law, as she represents this business, this business gets a zero for having her as a manager and not realizing that she is not an effective manager, but a disability to this business. Plus, word of mouth advertising is the worse type of advertising, which results in non returning customers like me. The first rule that Monica failed to follow is that "the customer is always right." I walked in for a pick up order, Register is busy with a customer explaining the whole menu, there three other people directly at the counter for pick up, I say Iâm here for a pick they all look at me and all three of them walk away. One goes to break. One goes back to stocking. One goes back to the back. OkayâŚ.
Wait for the guy to be done ordering 5 minutes later, say the name Iâm picking up. Wonât give me my order because I didnât bring my phone, and only then after listen everything single item in the order she says itâs not ready. I point to the order behind her thatâs been sitting on the counter since I got here and she says âoh.â
And then hands me two cups to get my drinks but the soda is out, wait 5 minutes please. Then Iâm signaled that âItâs good!â
Only to get home later to be missing my sauce, and plantains and for the soda to not be good and still flatâŚ..
This place always manages to frustrate the ever living snot out of me, every six months when I forget about the customer service. Save yourself the headache honestly and I really donât get it, Iâm genuinely confused, is it because Iâm black? Is it because I look like I donât speak Spanish? Do I just keep getting the one staff crew that just doesnât give a damn like genuinely Iâd like to know what the issue is.
