Need more workers, so corners can stop being cut.
Today, I went to Wendy's , Store # 3020. I occasionally go here for breakfast, usually via drive thru. However, today, the line was way too long. Therefore, I decided to go inside, hoping it would have been quicker. There were three people ahead of me who were already complaining about the wait time. One only wanted a honey biscuit with potato wedges, but she had to wait approximately 15-20 minutes just for that. One man came in to return an incorrect order, but because no one attended to him, he left angrily, after waiting for approx 10 mins. Anyway, while being there for approx 40 mins, I observed only two workers. One lady running the drive thru & running the food outside to waiting customers. She had no gloves on the entire time & didn't clean her hands at anytime time at all. The other lady was running the prepared food area & taking the inside orders & payments, including cash. She had dirty gloves on, which she didn't stop at any time to change during all this activities. She even took a cup from what seemed to be a homeless lady to refill her coffee. During this time, she still didn't change her gloves while continuing to prepare & handle customers' food & payments, both for drive thru & inside. When I realized that she was about to prepare my food, I kindly asked her to wash & change her gloves, which I was very pleased that she pleasantly did. I realize that these two females were trying to do their best because it was only two of them trying to serve so many people. But, it doesn't change the fact that corners were cut, negligence and uncleanness took place, which can cause a person to have health issues. And, to think that I usually go through the drive thru & this is what has been happening on the inside, very disappointed. Not to mention the wait time, which caused me to be 15 mins late for my job. Read moreI just placed a mobile order and paid for it, bank statement to proove the payment. Pull up to pick it up and forst of all the drive through person either doesent pay attention oto what i was saying or her ear piece wasnt working but i had to keep telling her my order information. She then tells me she cant ind it and to pull up and the whole point of me going through the drive through was to not get out of the car. I pull to the side and she tells me my order is inside so i tell her i have my sick kid on the car i cant leave him there and she again tells meis inside, so i go inside and then the manager with her power trip tells me that my payment failed and im telling its shown on my bank statement it was deducted and she tells me that it will go back to my card in 2-3 days, to seipe my card again. What bothered me the moest was the lack of empathy from these women, they could have told me all that through the window. Customer aservice trhough the floor and we have to accept that cus is a fast food establishment? Also, the manager said this happens all the time, a lot of times like what the hell is this? so be carefull with this establishment, pay cash or make sur eyou have doible the funds you need to pay...
Read moreThis is the absolute worst Wendy's I have ever been to. Save yourself the trouble and drive 5 mins north to the Coral Springs location which has always been great to me. I never leave reviews but the consistent lack of quality and customer service at this location warranted this negative review. This is the closest location to me and 3ach time I come here either the doors are always locked during regular business hours, the drive thru is packed because whoever is working the window can't speak proper english and never understands the order, or the quality of the food is mediocre on a good day and terrible usually. I could list many more issues with this location but to sace space I only put the highlights of how bad the experience here is. How this location continues to operate with such a low standard of care and quality is beyond me. I will from now on go out of my way to drive north to the Coral Springs location as the Managment there is always superior and the quality of the food and care is always great. Unfortunately I have to give this location one star because no stars...
