Burger King — Restaurant in Tampa

Food was great, was just really put off with how I very nicely told the lady at the window (who was a supervisor or manager) that she had given me fries when I had asked for onion rings with my combo. She very defensively but still trying to be nice told me that she gave me whatever was on my reciept.

Mind you I'm smiling and being very nice about this and told her "oh well I did ask for fries", which by the way I had to tell her 3 different times while ordering that I wanted a 'plain cheeseburger' but each time she kept responding with "you want a plain hamburger". That wasn't cleared up until I described to her what a plain cheeseburger was, to which she replied "oh so you want a cheeseburger?!"......ANYWAY....most fast food places when I've been given the wrong side when I asked for a different side will just swap it out. Including other Burger Kings, they'll apologize and just switch the fries for onion rings.

BEFORE she could even start to repeat her "I rang up whatever you ordered and checked off everything on your receipt so it's in the bag" defense....this OTHER lady in the back, who may I add was also manager or supervisor (I know this because they didnt have the regular staff uniform shirts on) she started shouting "EVERYTHING IS IN THE BAG" every time I went to say "No, I understand that..." and was going to ask if they could just switch the fries out.

Instead of listening both of them be broken records of defense, I nicely said "ok, nevermind then" and just drove away. So definitely beware at what kind of attitude you're going to get from this staff since I was so rudely treated by their management staff.

But again the food itself was great!...

We took our family here Saturday night to get food. There is no line. Upon arriving we place the order got to the window to pay and get our food. I see a young man wiping his nose profusely with his hand and then proceeded to touch the counter where they bag the food up. I let the young lady know that came to collect payment of what I saw he had no gloves on from his bare hand to the counter then to grab the bag to put the items in. Instantly told her what I saw I want to reiterate that I did let the person at the window know. She called him by his name and then proceeded to turn around and tell me oh he's not touching the actual food. I thought to myself you are just as nasty. I believe when she saw my face after her response she called him by the name and told him to stop that she was going to bag our order and told him to throw away the order he had already touched. However I saw them just slide the bag he initially touched over to the side. The young lady then begin to repackage everything and put it in the bag now I just want to say I have worked in fast food before and when you go to put the freeze into the actual fry container some of those friss may touch your hand especially when you go to shake them inside the container which she did. So I said nothing further after watching her package our order and bring it directly to me. I paid and I left but I will never go back to this location sanitation is extremely important and if you don't care that your employee or co-worker touches something and giving excuse you're just as nasty and just as at fault. Watch these workers y'all watch your food and watch these workers do not be afraid to...

The place has good service, but highly depends on there mood of the staff member. Also, somtimes they do over cook the food, better yet they burn it. Your whopper meat patty looks and taste more like charcoal on bread, it rarely happens but it does. So if you use the drive thru service check your food. Over time the service has improved to be honest. More recently of the times i have gone here, i do get outstanding treatment by management and staff. I have been to this location on various occasions. I do have one major issue with this place, and it really made me feel uncomfortable for the 1st time. People from the street surround this area in general. On my most recent dine in with my parents and my baby nephew, which was about a week ago. A guy from the street came in sat right next to us, and he didnt say a thing. He would not take his eyes off my mothers purse. He notice i was watching him, and started sweating. He was nervous and decide to take off and left the premises. There was plenty of sitting area and he had to sit right next to us. You go to this burger king location, pay attention to your surroundings, and be on your toes. Furthermore, the restroom was being use by people off the street to smoke. It was not pleasant, i have not return to this location and dont plan in the future. 1 out of 5, 5 being best and 1 being worst.
