I was so tickled when I discovered this shop online searching for fun things to do in the area while I’m here on vacation. However I was so so disappointed when I made the 50 minute drive out to find the doors locked and lights off. I looked online for hours and it read opening hours were at 11 today as well as on the door. I wouldn’t have minded waiting around if someone was just gone on lunch, but I didn’t want to sit outside and not know how long I’d have to wait. Read moreThis is one of my favorite places in historic Ybor. I visited this gem in May 2024 and I absolutely loved it! The owner is super personable and friendly. I loved that it is owned by a woman and it’s also LGBTQ friendly. I saw a review from a person who seemed appalled at the items and themes presented in the shop. The collection was fantastic and I spent an hour just walking around the store looking at all of the oddities. Great selection of taxidermy and preserved specimens both wet and dried. The antique art collection was also amazing. Bought an old gilded mirror that immediately stood out. Great prices and quality when compared to other stores I've previously visited. Will return.
