Crembo Bakery and Cafe — Restaurant in Tampa

UPDATE: Please see the condescending response, it'll show how uninviting this place is! They only made one of us sign in, better make sure your staff forces everyone to sign the waiver next time!

First things first, these reviews are clearly biased.

We were visiting Tampa and looked up a bakery nearby. We drove around the block because all we saw was a Jewish community center surrounded by Humvees and military transport trucks. Turns out the bakery is inside the JCC after going through a guarded entrance to the parking lot. We tried to walk in the front doors but they were locked, apparently you have to buzz in. We did that only to get to the front desk with 4-5 people. We had to sign some sort of waiver to get in and everyone had to show IDs. At this point we had to see this through...

We told them we were here for the bakery and they pointed us towards double doors and we walked down the hallway of what felt like a high school. We got to the bakery which had a sign outside the door with the hours listed. We went inside to what looked like a family and consumer science classroom. Nobody was there and there was no sign that anything was baking. We lurked around waiting a few minutes for someone to show but they never did. We tried to ask someone about it but no one was of any help. Clearly the front desk people didn't know it wasn't open.

We loved the food!!!! I got the shakshuka and thought it was amazing (usually restaurant/cafe shakshuka is slightly bland but this one wasn’t) ask for medium spicy, it’s got a perfect little kick to it. The avocado toast was amazing, they cut the bread so thick and yummy, they’re generous! Their Jerusalem bagels are delicious and so are the smoothies.
