Jimmy John's — Restaurant in Tampa

Walked in around 8 pm tonight to get three sandwiches for myself and two colleagues after performing a 4 hour surgery.

Two young kids in there. I order my food one #7 giant & 2 #11's regular with chips and a drink.

One kid asks me "Do you even know what you're ordering?" in an almost condescending tone. I tell him yes, two #11's and a #7 giant with chips and a drink.

Then the other kid has to manually punch in the order with a disgusted look on his face.

He hands me two cups, instead of 3. Before I realize this, I fill the two I got up with ice and then I realize I only needed one drink. ( It's been a REALLY long day )

I throw one of the cups of ice into the trash and walk back to the counter to grab the chips.

One of the kids looks at me with a complete look of hatred and says "Why you comin' in here makin' messes?" I said, "What happened?" I look back and a couple of ice cubes fell on top of the trash can when I threw my drink away.

At that point I'm done. I don't want anything made by this kid. I tell them to keep the sandwiches on my way out.

Disgusting customer service. People walking around with chips on their shoulders with victim complexes have no business in the...

I stopped in here at this store today for a quick lunch since I was on the road; this was my 1st time at a Jimmy Johns. I was curious to try it out after listening to the commercials. First, I must say the sandwich was delicious... and it was seriously done, wrapped and ready to go before I even finished paying; it really was as fast as they claim in the commercials. It was not all messy or thrown together so it was not difficult to eat and stay clean. Now I wish I had ordered 2 sandwiches!

But I also have to say that the staff was very friendly and welcoming. I mentioned to the man that greeted me as I walked in (I did not catch his name) that I had never been there before; he took time to walk through how everything worked, what sandwiches were their best sellers and how to order. I always like to acknowledge top notch customer service when I can and this guy went above and beyond; he had a great demeanor. So many places these days are staffed by people that you can tell don't want to be there and it shows; this was the exact opposite and I felt like they appreciated my business. I will definitely be back to Jimmy Johns and I will recommend this store...

While running errands in the plaza, we decided to stop by for a quick bite and wait for the rain to slow down. The place was kind of quiet, not much going on but a couple of curbside pick-up orders. After a few minutes there happened to be a few walk-ins for dine-in and take-out, and I noticed 3 things that caught my attention:

of the 3 people altogether that I observed using the register (the others were on food production), only ONE mentioned to a no-mask wearing patron that masks were mandatory to enter premises and even offered a disposable one for the customer to wear while they ordered, which prompted the client to pull out his own and put it on 👍🏼

while refilling ice machines, ice buckets should never touch the floor/rest on the floor, and I saw that happen with 2 buckets full of ice🥴

the same employee that had requested for the client to wear a mask was, after slow moments while the food was being prepared and clients waiting, diligently wiping with sanitation solution the customers’ side of the counter, the register, and all areas where people came in contact while ordering 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 thank you to him for taking proper measures (never...
