I’m going to start this by saying that we did go to this sonic after the Ed Sheeran concert, so a slight wait was expected…but not what we experienced. We pulled into sonic at about 11:15. We wanted to place a mobile order however that shuts down at 11. We waited in line for about 20 minutes before deciding to go into a stall. We pressed the button as we already knew what we wanted, waited about 10 minutes with no response. We then backed up and got back into the line. We were dedicated to waiting as we wanted breakfast burritos. We waited about over an hour before getting to the intercom. (There were about 4 cars infront of us, 2 had left while waiting). At this point it was 12:50. My friend and I joked that they were gonna ignore us to avoid taking our order…completely joking. We waited another 20 minutes, and the car behind us walked up to the drive thru window to see what was going on. She was told they planned to help my friend and I and the woman. The woman behind us then left as we continued to wait. Finally someone walked outside, she was very friendly, and asked what we wanted to order. We went over everything we wanted. About 10 minutes later the worker came to let us know they were not serving breakfast any longer. We decided to get buffalo sauced chicken. We provide our payment method before even getting to the drive thru window as there were 2 other cars infront of us waiting for their food still. Finally the 1st car got their food, and the second waited at the window. We finally got to the window at 2am. We were handed a bag with only some of our items, cold plain chicken, cold mozzarella sticks, and a ton of sauce. We tried to be understanding and we let them know they weren’t supposed to be plain. They told us we would get the rest of our food hot and fresh. We got our shakes, then finally the rest of our food. They did throw in a few free items. I assume it was as an apology, mozzarella sticks, and chicken. As we pulled off we saw the manager sitting on the benches outside on a smoke break. We took a drink of our shake…and it was sour, not edible. Got to our hotel, and the sprite that was ordered had milk in it (my friend ordered a Dr Pepper with sweet cream).
All in all, only about $10 of our $48 order was edible. Extremely disappointing, and a huge waste of time, money...
Read moreI've been in the mood for Sonic, so tonight, I drove the 11 miles to get to Sonic for a foot long Chili Cheese Coney with mustard and onion, some tots, and cherry limeade. Pull to a stall, push the button, and wait. And wait. And wait....... After several minutes, I back out and go to the drive through and order. 2 cars in front of me, and that's it. I waited probably another 10 minutes or so and contemplated leaving and just going to a real restaurant, but dang it, I wanted my chili cheese Coney with mustard and onion, tater tots, and cherry limeade. Got my order eventually and headed towards the house. Tots were crispy and hot, cherry limeade as I remember, but the foot long chili cheese coney with mustard and onion? Bombed. No cheese. No onion. No mustard. Just bun, a shriveled up, over cooked, Luke warm hotdog, and some chili. I'm literally sitting here contemplating. Do I go back out and find something else to eat, or do I just dig something out of the freezer. Not what I was hoping for. This Sonic is a let down. I should have just gone to a proper restaurant for not much more and had a real meal. Side note, I was also hoping for a milk shake. They told me "we're not making those." It's Sonic. That's part of your schtick. How can you not make milk shakes at a sonic?! other side note. The windows look disgustingly dirty, which leaves me to wonder how bad is the...
Read moreJust now ordered mobile pickup on my motorcycle on location at 1130. Staff shut off all external lights at 1140. After 15 minutes from check in (1145pm), and seeing my order on table for a while, I knocked on window to ask if I could have lights on until 12 closing as I rode here to eat onsite quickly before going home. Spoke with server who brought food and he still tried asked me if i wanted a drink holder for my rt44 drink, like how am i gonna use that on motorcycle.... He told me that the manager said no, so I asked to speak to her in person and for her name, but mysteriously didn't know it which is pretty strange bc there was only like 4 people there inside.
Once unnamed manager woman came to the door, she proceeded to say "I don't want the lights on bc it's not safe outside for me"
I never asked for her to join me for dinner so I didn't understand the relevance of that statement. if your business is open until 12 lights should be on till then. If you dont feel safe then dont work there... Had 2 other people outside waiting to order who just walked off angrily once the lights all shut off early. I ended up finishing my food before 12 anyway. I wasn't asking for lights to be on for even a minute past closing.... not an unreasonable ask. Clearly they...
