Luna Lounge — Restaurant in Tampa

This place is awesome, first let me give credit where credit is due. Cyrus, Kyle and Leilani... I hope I got that last one right. Her name is very unique to me. They're all friendly, welcoming and a breath of fresh air.

The view was really nice and the service was one of the best I've had since my arrival to this beautiful city. I was on the hunt for a rooftop locale and although it was a little hard to find for me, i didn't give up and I'm glad i didn't either. They did not disappoint one bit.

The venue has a really nice environment, the hummus was delicious and I'll definitely bring my lady here real soon. Kyle knows his wine, and i hear it's happy hour 4 to 7 everyday of the week. I originally asked for the red pinot but Kyle recommended a different option that was spot on.

They all deserve some props from management and i say a raise as well. To top it off, if you check-in on Yelp, you get the hummus dish as part of your check-in but i am sure the rest of their menu dishes are as good or even better than the hummus i had. I simply came to relax and take a break from work. I paced myself so they'll be plenty of menu reasons to come back.

I really wanted this place to be fantastic for a Tampa rooftop bar, but it was really not up to par for the Soho area. I was hoping to catch the sunset, but the way it's set up, there is a giant wall blocking the entire west side, so you cannot see this from this bar if that is what you were hoping for. It is great for shade! However, there are really pretty views of the Tampa City skyline. The space is extremely small and it was brutal trying to find a place to sit on a busy Friday night, yet alone the huge waits to order a drink at the bar. Unfortunately it's very unorganized and not to any fault of the bar staff who were busting their tails whipping up well crafted cocktails. The drinks were awesome, but the liquor selection is very limited. The vibe is very college town UT like, but it is a very neat little place. I would personally avoid the busy weekend nights as you need to also wait for the elevator inside Bulla to take you to the top and that is pretty slow. They do have a little bit of a honey bee problem as they are everywhere. They don't bother anyone, but they do fly around a lot around the bar. Luna Lounge was exceptional! Kate, Diana and Kaysaan were awesome. These three made my bulla experience unforgettable. Diana was so personable and attentive, the service was exceptional. Kate and Kaysaan made my bar experience exciting. They both loved to engage in conversation and always attended to my needs. I never waited for a drink! Thank you to these 3 for making my bulla experience a once in a lifetime. I will recommend this place to my friends, family and co workers. Thank you again...
