Wasn't bad but I've tried places that had more higher quality ingredients in their Tea. There was a weird clamy powder taste in the tea and it tasted like starbucks a bit which is just trash. all of the flavors didn't really taste all that powerful and wasn't really mixed right and it almost taste like it was trying to emulate a specific (natural) flavor but that wasn't real Tea flavor Lol They're just starting out so I'll give them a chance I'll probably go back and try something but no time soon I just hope they don't Cut back on ingredients and replace with cheaper ones. It's pretty expensive for what it is to it's about $2.78 more than the place I usually go to which is only $5 I paid $7.78!? Crazy for a drink for just the creme brulee which i'm guessing is a new item because I didn't see it before when I peeked in to see what they have, and it doesn't even taste as good as the places I go to especially for the price which is a bit unfortunate. Not a bad little place if you just want to get yourself a basic Boba tea but nothing compared to Chewy boba company, Naga Tea or Kung fu tea. If you want good quality tea you just have to go to other places like those which are more established and authentic and stand behind their product and actually know a lot about their Taiwanese style Boba tea and have more product knowledge on what they buy and sell Because both the owner and the person that was helping me were really nice and upbeat but didn't really have a clue as to what they were making, this whole little shop could just be a cash grab to be honest, A quick little business idea to make quick money in diminished quality. And honestly I don't understand the whole cycle gym plus Boba tea shop those are two entirely different industries and they just don't really go together in my opinion if there's one thing that a lot of people like me hate it's going to gyms dealing with brainless meat heads and fake personalities as well as costly subscriptions so that is a huge turn off for me either focus on tea or focus on cycling you can't do both at the same time it just will not work that's like a barbershop opening up a café inside their store do you want hair to get in your food? I don't think so. When you're finished working out tea usually not the best beverage afterwards since it's going to make you feel sleepy and probably dehydrated af from all The caffeine. Not Ideal if you ask me. i'll probably try them again later next time I'm around Midtown but they're not really competition regardless of how new they are. The interior design is nice though and I do like the RGB...
Read moreFirst time at this boba shop, and honestly not impressed. I do really like the vibe and location of this shop but other than that I didn’t have a pleasant experience. Firstly, when we walked in there were about 4-5 girls standing behind the counter doing nothing, which is fine considering it wasn’t busy but it seemed like a bit excessive for the amount of people working with the amount of customers. There was not a lot of foot traffic and it was kinda awkward considering only two of the girls ended up helping us while the others just talked. Second, the drinks were just not very good. I got the crème brûlée boba drink and it just tasted really gross. I’m not sure why but i got like a taste of peppermint? I’ve had crème brûlée before and it’s my favorite dessert but unfortunately this resembles nothing of crème brûlée, not even slightly, and I do understand it’s a drink not actual crème brûlée, i’m not sure I just would definitely get something else next time. My boyfriend ended up getting a strawberry lemonade boba drink and it just tasted like lemon water. No strawberry flavor at all. I would consider another visit but definitely getting the recommendations of the people working there, cause today it was just not...
Read moreIt was a good first time visit in the heart of Midtown Tampa. My initial first impression is that there are two businesses at this location. As you enter, there is another door leading into a cycling studio. The boba bar is to your left.
We were greeted as we entered. I pretty much knew what I wanted from viewing their online ordering menu. They have a Strawberries & Coconut Cream drink that can also be made with a mango puree. I substituted the strawberry with the mango, and added strawberry popping boba. It was creamy & delicious. The popping boba had that natural strawberry taste that was very pleasing.
The service was quick & polite. All our questions were answered. They have fruit tea, milk tea, slushes, and milk alternatives. The non-dairy coconut cream mixed with tropical mango made it feel more like a mocktail. It could definitely be the perfect rum drink.
What was missing? I just wish they had more of an indoor space with seating. There's a few chairs with bar seating along the window, as well as a few tables outside. I feel like it's more for the residents who are living, working, or staying in the Midtown complex. I guess that's the point. You're supposed to take it...
