Went there for a work party All the garage doors were open on 4 sides and there were tons of misters inside. They did not compensate and drop the AC to blast mode with negative pressure like brass tap does so the cool air stays caught. And the misters were not cold but the air temp so it just made ir more hot & humid.
I felt like we were in the tropics and only 20 of my 80 colleagues were inside yet. When I asked to drop the AC, the manager said that corporate will not allow them too. Wow. So I told him that I would have dropped some serious money but I was getting overheated feeling sick. My beer turned warm in 10 minutes. I lasted less than a 1/2 hour. What a way to treat a bunch of teachers trying to enjoy the first week of school. And what kind of business model is this in Florida? We want rocking AC, makes you eat and drink more. Just seems like a poor business model to SAVE SOME MONEY ON AC BUT PEOPLE WON’t STAY AS LONG AND DRINK.
Our waitress and bartenders were on point and missed out on tips bc I know my colleagues probably didn’t stay as long as they normally would. And believe me, teachers can stay and drink.
My only other complaint is that we paid for food from 4-6 and they seemed really nonchalant about brining that out in a timely manner. They brought out 2 salads by 4:22 and no chicken and Mac n cheese as promised yet. Good service industry people bring all the catered food out at the same time. And also the temp of that room was not safe for salads sitting out for a few hours.
Teachers go by time and when you are told free food from 4-6 and it isn’t out when you leave at 4:30, that is a problem. I didn’t stick around bc the thought of eating mac n cheese inside an 88 degree restaurant didn’t sound pleasant. Maybe they didn’t realize that teachers get off early not 5! Someone messed up.
I will never seek to go here personally but we did host another work party here at Christmas and the temps were fine bc it’s winter.
I should have just gone to Brass Tap, they do this whole concept amazingly well but was trying to support my team the first week back.

Read moreFor the first time going to Miller's Ale House I must say the bathrooms for the women were not the greatest that I've ever been in they need to be maintained more often they need a little bit of updating my husband says the men's bathroom was just fine smelled like flowers even no smell of urine woohoo first in a long time the food on the other hand wasn't as great as I thought it would be the burger my husband had gotten was supposed to be medium well and then inside of it was rare he could not eat the rest of it and the cheese was not cooked on the hamburger and iced tea the tea wasn't the greatest my husband is a tea connoisseur and said this was the worst tea he ever had. my Philly cheese steak was okay wasn't the best I've had they do not tell you that if you want to add mushrooms it's 99 Cents more which I thought all Philly cheese steak come with onions peppers mushrooms cheese and steak. For an appetizer we got the Monday special chicken tenders for $6.99 they were really good we got the garlic parmesan as usual you're always going to get some hard spots on them which is normal other than that those are pretty well the fries were good as well too the service Myla and Angel we're really good waiters and waitresses they came out and asked us several times how we like their meal made sure we were happy with everything we've got and when we weren't they politely listened and tried making up for the mistakes they were really good people. The manager Jonathan came out and greeted us and asked us about our meal after we had stated something to the waitresses and waiter and he gave us a $25 gift card which we greatly appreciate to come back and try to do our first time over again and compensation of what went on today other than that the place was really nice the atmosphere was up the TVs were all on they had Sports they had comedy they had news they're all around Traverse and different programs you have inside and outside dining not very busy if you like burgers and Beer or even the fine spirits and you don't mind a little bit of a price this would...
Read moreI went to Miller Ale House with a party of 12. We were greeted within 2 minutes of walking thru the door and it felt gracious to have such a warm welcome on a Friday evening as we're expecting it to be busy. They were very accommodating. We were seated within 10 minutes of arriving and it only took that long as the staff made a seating area for us. So far, so good. The waitress was pleasant and created a system for herself to remember who was who so that she may get the orders correct. She took everyone's drink orders and delivered accordingly. As she started taking orders for appetizers, I made my order but decided to wait for everyone else to get their food so I wouldn't be rude. She then took everyone's orders and things were good at that time. She was attentive to everyone's drinks which was also good. Here is where it went downhill for me. Everyone's dinner order came out and my order did not. Mind you, all I ordered was soup (the soup of the day was clam chowder). I ordered first and received my soup AFTER everyone started eating. My party and I had to remind at least 3 different people I had not received my soup after everyone is eating. So finally, I get my lukewarm soup (yes lukewarm)... they brought me a DIRTY spoon to eat my food with. When I say dirty, I mean food still stuck on disgusting looking spoon. At this point, I'm ready to send the soup and nasty looking spoon back. My party stopped a 4th person at this time to get a clean spoon brought out. Where, you're asking yourself, is that pleasant waitress? You're guess is as good, if not better, than mine. After the food was delivered, she was ghost. She flew around to other tables but she never checked back on us. At this point, I'm done. My party graciously paid for my food and I left. Miller's Ale House, message received. I, personally, will not be back but I wish...
