So been there twice. Once in their grand opening and yesterday…. Grand opening I wasn’t to impressed with the costumer service and the organization. But I’m gonna give them a pass grand opening a lot orders etc. So I get it and understand. I’m family wasn’t I’m impress with the food at all and the my chicken dinner the tried me with, but my fault for not checking my order.
Yesterday was there for almost hour waiting on my food because my ticket fell in the floor and they didn’t see it. Ok got it no problem.
Didn’t say hey let me give you something more, or hey next time your order is on us, hey let me give you, your money back since you just been waiting here and I ( costumer) had to come up to y’all and ask what’s going on?
NOW PUBLIC THIS PLACE AINT CHEAP BY NO MEANS!!!! So spent abt 62 dollars on two drinks two slices of cake and two meals. Ribs and Oxtails. Mind you everything said market price. But what is market price? There is nothing,no where that shows you hey todays market pice for oxtail and ribs are xyz….. BUT THE DISRESPECTFULNESS OF THIS PLACE REALLY GOT ME!!! So where they went wrong! How you gonna see me this nasty, trash food for this price! Spending the money was never the ISSUE… I WANT TO SUPPORT EVERY BLACK BUSINESS OUT THERE THATS ON GOD!!! and I dont write views for nothing. And I would have never in a millions years I would be doing this. It this pace got me for mad!!! Red Velvet cake was cake was dry no flavor at all and wasn’t even and didn’t even look like red velvet. The frosting tasted like butter. Fruit Punch was just read Kool Aid and I’m cool with that but at least spruce it up a little to take that Kool-Aid taste away maybe like some pineapple juice in it or something like that just a free tip. Publix potatoes salad got y’all beat!! That wet nasty tasting like Mayo and boiled eggs y’all tried me and this is black owned??? I’m embarrassed and ashamed. Mac and cheese garbage no flavor what so ever. Oxtail where good flavor wise… now when it’s mostly bones and the meat that there is semi tuff. Lets me know this ain’t your specialty… Friend had the rib he said it wasn’t the worst but it was all that either. But it deff messed his stomach up ASAP!!! I was weak! So I they lost me. First time got the pass! Second time I just realized they can’t cook food deff needs FLAVOR that’s on GOD! They need to rethink the prices before they shut down in less then a year do to no business. I hope who ever reads this takes this in and really look… cause you have a beautiful business. And to be a black business is a much beautiful thing. Cause the ppl that told no and that we can’t have this. We as a people are doing it and making strides. And I pray for your success. Y’all need to do...

It is my preference to patronize black businesses in general and especially restaurants. My son pulled asked me to try this restaurant and I agreed to do so today. First I'm not sure I've ever seen general foods advertised at "market rate" with no indications of what the market prices are currently. Chicken, ribs, pork etc. do not significantly fluctuate in price as lobster and other seafoods may. I wish I had noticed this when I walked in because I would have walked out. At any rate, we committed to wings with two sides at a hefty $17.00 a plate which is ridiculously high and as a result my expectations were lifted higher. We actually had tiny wings on our plates that were bought at a discount store. They were small, pink and deformed looking....and I could not believe I just paid that type of money for this...it was totally unacceptable and there's a Publix just down the road where you can buy decent chicken wings. We must do better because this is an example of why folks do not want to support our businesses. If the owner did not have good, quality product as an offering for today, he should say so. I gave two points for the sides which were actually good yams and mac and cheese. Do...
Read moreI really appreciate this restaurant because of how much of an eye opener it is in regards to business now adays. A lot of it’s patrons knows the timeline of this restaurant because Andre (the owner) has actively served this community for over 10 years, we didn’t just magically hear about him once he got a business. Not only that but the product is quality and can stand on its own! The food is delicious and undeniable. Most newly black owned businesses strongest sale point is that their black owned providing a product similar to something else. This business strongest sale point is the product it makes, if it was white owned I would still eat here regularly. The staff is great and plays a great role by unintentionally providing young men and women jobs they can do outside of the avocations they put towards reaching they careers and it blends seemlessly with experienced cooks and servers who’s been doing it for years. This business has a bright future ahead of itself if it continues in this direction.
The signatures I recommend are the fried lobster if available or the 6 piece spicy honey wings with fries and the...
