LOVE, LOVE, LOVE I ordered a Large Iced mocha caramel coffee with regular milk. As I was speaking with Safa (I’m so sorry if that’s misspelled) she recommended I try the red Kratom for my back pain (military injury). I explained I had tried the green kratom in the past and didn’t like it so I was nervous to because the I didn’t like the taste. She surprised me with this wonderful concoction of Peach Lemonade with Strawberries and red kratom. It was delicious. It hid the kratom so well. But still had that smooth mellow flavor that people like. I think I like the Kratom drink more than the coffee. lol. Atmosphere is 10/10 Staff is 10/10 , I got to meet and socialize with so many friendly people there. I would definitely recommend to a friend! (In fact I did) And the chocolate croissant was sooooooooo good. Nice light but delicious snack. & there’s a food truck coming soon!! <3 The shop’s official Hard Open date is May 3rd. Thank you for your hospitality! See u soon -Alisa

As long as there have been cigar factories in Tampa, coffee has been a vital part of the city’s Latin and Italian heritage. At one point, before the factories went offshore starting in the 1930s, there were close to 100 roasters supplying cafecitos to factories and cafes in Tampa. This spot, which opened about two months ago, carries on that tradition with a bit of an international feel. Jordanian-born Safa Qassm brings it back to its African roots with Yemeni coffee on the menu in a stylish setting. The single mother of four roasts her own Columbian beans. She also offers kava, kratom and hookah. But she’s a badass barista who is part of Tampa’s next coffee chapter. Do not miss the Yemeni coffee. It tastes like what coffee was intended to be. Parking: Street parking on Florida Avenue and side streets and in an adjacent lot.

LOVE this concept for a coffee “bar.” They have kratom, non-alcoholic drinks and coffee served at a bar (as well as food items). My friend and I stopped in and the owner was incredibly hospitable and kind. The place is clean, aesthetically pleasing, and has little details that a lot of other shops miss: outlets under most all of the tables for easy device charging, as well as bar hooks under each hightop stool to hang your bag as you sip or work. I ordered the pistachio latte and my friend ordered a dubai coffee. The drinks were unsweetened but the owner was happy to add flavor and some sweetness to individual taste. I don’t think I have ever been in a shop with such an attentive owner. I will definitely make a point to stop by again if I’m in the area. I wish this place nothing but success.
