This pains me to give such a low score to the original Outback steakhouse. I would normally never complain as you win some and lose some, So usually I don't say a word. Let me start with this. I've been going to the original Outback for over 27 years. My wife and I ordered take out last night and often as well. Literally for the past few years the service, size and quality of the food just keeps diminishing. We ordered 2 Alice springs chicken dinners and a large salad with 4 extra mustard vinaigrette dressings and the ahi tuna appetizer. I received some sort of balsamic vinaigrette instead and the ahi tuna was not even edible. Smelled rotten and the ginger soy sauce that comes with it only had about a teaspoon of the dressing in it. The Alice springs chicken dinners were fine other than maybe a little overcooked. But those who are it did not mind. I however had to go without dinner last night and was very upset. Again I never complain... I worked in restaurants my entire life and completely understand mistakes happen. However. At least 5 of the last 6 orders we have placed have been complete disappointment. So this was the straw that broke the kangaroo's back... After my wife and friend ate their dinner I called the restaurant and asked to speak with a manager. A young woman answered and I started explaining what happened she let me explain for at least 2-3 minutes before stating I need to speak to a manager....! So I ended up hanging up did not get to speak to a manager frankly because I had just told the entire story to I assume a hostess or waitress. I was very upset, To upset to explain it all over again. I just want to let the Original Outback know that I literally threw away 40.00 in food due to it being inedible and incorrect. This is ridiculous I hope they can somehow manage to correct the portions, service and quality. Outback was always one of my favorites I even know The bartender Rich who's been there longer than anyone else. Please fix this!!! I would like to continue to be a customer and certainly didn't deserve what I got last night and several times over the past few years. I remember when a chocolate thunder was too big for 1 person to eat!!! I could eat 3 of them now... The ahi appetizer is one of the best things on the menu when it's fresh and when they provide a souffle cup with proper amount of sauce/dressing... I have pictures that could be added to this review. But Google is not...

Review: I recently visited Outback with high hopes for a satisfying dining experience, but sadly, my visit turned out to be incredibly disappointing. From the moment we arrived, it was evident that the service was severely lacking.
To start, the waiter assigned to our table completely neglected to bring us water or even acknowledge our presence. We patiently waited for over 30 minutes, hoping for some attention or at least a basic level of service. However, our hopes were in vain as the waiter seemed oblivious to our presence, leaving us feeling ignored and unimportant.
Adding to our frustration was the fact that the restaurant appeared empty. It was bewildering to see such a lack of customers, which made us question the quality of the establishment. If a restaurant can't even provide adequate service when it's empty, one can only imagine the level of service during peak hours.
After enduring an extensive wait without any signs of improvement, we made the difficult decision to leave. It was disheartening to walk out of a restaurant feeling not only unheard but also undervalued as customers.
I must say that this experience at Outback has left a lasting negative impression on me. The combination of the waiter's negligence, the excessively long wait, and the overall emptiness of the restaurant raises serious concerns about their commitment to customer satisfaction.
I sincerely hope that Outback takes these criticisms to heart and makes significant improvements in their service quality and overall customer experience. As for myself, I will be hesitant to revisit or recommend Outback based on this deeply unsatisfactory encounter.
Please note that this review is based on my personal experience, and others may have different...
Read moreWas at this location for dinner this evening. Waiter was great, food was OK, feeling safe was a big no! There was a man by himself that was seated near us. He was talking to imaginary people. No big deal until he clearly was getting angry. He was using his hand like a gun, taking his knife and repeatedly stabbing the bread board, and then he was pointing at 'someone' across the table from him and holding the knife as if he was going to cut someone. A waiter came to the table to take his order and he did not even acknowledge the waiter talking to him. The waiter walked away and waited a few min and came back and the man ordered an appetizer. He declined to order any additional food multiple times. There was another patron that noticed these behaviors and was also concerned about safety in the immediate area. There were small children and when the child left, they sat a family there that included an elderly man in a wheelchair. The nearby concerned patron made eye contact with my husband to acknowledge that they were both seeing the same thing. The patron spoke with the supervisor who sent over the owner, Bobbi. Bobbi's response to him was that she is 5 ft 3, what did he think she could do. The waiter apologized multiple times as he was also uncomfortable. I asked for a box as I wanted to remove myself from the unsafe situation. My husband called the police as we were concerned that something may happen. Safety of patrons were put at risk in this situation. I could not even finish my meal. I am a visitor in the area, but the other patron is a local. I pray that nothing happened...
