Being French, I have my high standard habits... I am so happy with this business. Believe me, best restaurant to go to in Tampa Bay for the food quality, service, interior design set-up relative to price! Let me add you're not freezing and the music is not too loud. I have been to other Panera Bread restaurants, this is the 5 star location at just every level, it's so well managed, kudos to those who make this happen for years and every single day!
The food is really high quality and yet the prices are surprisingly very competitive, they offer you to customize your orders by removing or adding items ((ex: more tomatoes, add cilantro, etc...) for no charge, the menu is delicious (I've tasted everything) and the service is absolutely consistently impeccable for the hundred of times I have dined there. I couldn't rave enough about the staff, everyone is very welcoming and kind to all customers, it's so nice to see, there's an amazing sense of community created by the staff and the so many regular customers (because, yes, I guess I am not the only fan of this place!). I would start giving out the name of the staff but I would be worried I would miss someone amazing that makes your day there!
The only hiccup for me is that it's the only restaurant I know in town still offering the plastic straws. I have emailed and left voice mails to Panera Bread Franchise Head Office many times over the last few months but they never replied. Unfortunately, I guess they don't care about our marine life around here.
Don't get your salad to go at the supermarket! Their app is so easy to use with your favorites and pick-it up (the parking is quick and easy)! For a very similar price, you'll get so much more value, it's not even comparable. They also offer a $12.89 including tax monthly membership with unlimited coffee, tea and other drinks.
I step-in at Panera Bread SoHo and always smile because I know it's a smooth & pleasant experience all the way, it's all about the customer here!...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI ordered a large coffee and a free pastry I earned from being in the Panera monthly subscription coffee club. Additionally I ordered a pick-2, 1/2 a Turkey-Bacon Bravo sandwich and a bowl of creamy tomato soup. The young cashier appeared to have it all together while ringing me up. When it totalled over $11 I asked if she had included the coffee as gratis as it was prepaid on the club as unlimited every two hours and if the pastry, an everything but the kitchen sink, "kitchen sink" cookie were ringing as 0 dollars. She indicated the cookie wasn't coming off and that it was not on the free earned pastries list although it was a week ago when last I ordered it. I asked her to switch to a chocolate croissant and downgrade the soup to a cup at $1 less. The new total came up higher at over $13! She brought he manager over who did her magic and asked the counter person to ring the free paid items separately. It still came up too high! She rang it again and this time it was correct at just under $11. I know some staff are new at this very busy Panera's in Tampa's toney Hyde Park shopping area but this was ridiculous. I felt bad for the counter woman as she apparently needed more training on their registers. Then, when she threw my receipt away before I could ask her for it and realized she had downgraded my coffee cup size to medium from my requested large, I didn't feel sorry at all.... just plain annoyed. I rarely have an issue with Panera staff but I'm finding the newer, younger folks are really difficult to communicate with. We're speaking the same language but we're expressing and hearing different things from the same verbiage. She said she thought I downgraded the whole original order, including my free coffee. I explained I only downgraded the soup as I was trying to save some cash based on the total she had given me. The whole incident was time consuming and annoying. Hopefully this counter person/cashier will get better at listening to...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreNot my favorite panera. I go to many, sometimes 2 or 3 in a day as i commute around the state. Everyday here the bacon sits on a top shelf. No refrigeration, no lid. Everyday this week. Ive mentioned it. Noone cares. I would not recommend the b.l.t. for sure, or a ything else bacon. And that's just what you can see. Kinda gross. Update: week later. No lid on bacon. Asked regional mngr visiting the store while i was in. She said generally its not a rule to cover the cold cooked bacon sitting on the top shelf. Uhmm...gross. The front door opens every minute or so. Maybe the flies havent gotten the memo to stay away. Call me crazy, Im betting they like bacon also. The fatty left out all day kind. Ive seen one fly right out of that container. Gross. Just put a lid on food you intend to feed to customers. Refrigeration might be useful also. It takes just a shot time for bacteria to start forming on left out unrefrigerated fatty bacon. This is serious. Salmonella likely. Really. Dust, grime, bacteria, open food Duh. Gross and dangerous. Days later. Still no lid. Sits all day long on that shelf. At all paneras. No lid. No refrigeration. How do you think ceiling panels get dirty. Dust and dirt are in the air. Salmonella anyone. Health dept needs a call.
Week ltr. Sitting all morning. Still no lid.
š¤¢another cpl days. There's the nasty vent just above the open bacon right before close. No doubt "open, on the shelf, all day long". 𤢠click and zoom in on 2nd pic. That vent above the nasty container. That's going in the sandwiches. "All day long." Are you serious š
Over a week ltr. Been here almost every day. No lid. Under the vent. All day. Disgusting. Someone is going to get really sick. Look at...
