Starbucks — Restaurant in Tampa

How could this place be in such an upscale hotel??

Let's start with there are flies ALL OVER EVERYTHING. The barely moving employee finally acknowledged me and without even making eye contact finally asked me what i want. She rang me up and I paid with my card. then....SHE PROCEEDED TO MAKE MY DRINK. The person working the cash register and handling money is handling food!!!! No gloves!! What's worse, she had 2" nails....not exaggerating... which pick up every piece of dirt off every surface and keep it.... and of course she DID NOT wash her hands... because who would want to ruin that nail job. Oh and of course she doesn't know how to make a drink.... she just doesn't have to....it's Tampa!

Rude and gross is the best I can say about this place. Worst...

I’m not a big fan of Starbucks to begin with but it’s convenient so I’ll swing in on my travels. I really liked this one, the location is very nice being attached to a beautiful hotel with large clean bathrooms and conveniently located before crossing the bridge without having to deal the chaos of Tampa roads. I went to the one near the university last week and they were out of almost everything on the menu including condiments and napkins and the lines were so backed up it completely turned me off to Starbucks. Decided to give it another try and was very pleased with the fast n fresh food, service, cleanliness, and location. I will make a point of stopping at this one again if I’m needing to travel from Tampa...

I have been to a lot of Starbucks but this one by far is my favorite location and now the ONLY location I go to get my daily coffee before work. Sonia, Sol, Stephanie, Amanda and the rest of the staff are very friendly and they all greet me every morning by my name and every time and I mean EVERY TIME, they know what I want and how I want it. Interacting with the staff at this location brightens my day at work, no matter how busy it might be. As a hotel Manager, give my loyalty to places like this Starbucks no matter how expensive it might be or how far it might be from where I have to go. Thank you so much for everything and making me feel special. If I could give this location more than 5...
