I'm a homeowner whose house is vibrating from the muddled, thumping bass coming from this bar. The bar owner states that her bar bands can play as loud as she wants until 10pm. Absolutely no consideration for her neighbors. Neighbors who might like to enjoy time in our homes in the evening without hearing the bar's choice of music over our TV's or any conversation we might be trying to have with friends and family. This place is a neighborhood nuisance and the worst neiighbor I have ever had.
I've read your response and am adding to my original review....
Fact: No deal fell through for me in Sun City Center. I owned a second home there for 16 monts. I sold that home for a nice profit.
Fact: I was never supportive of your establishment and I have emails to you and Tampa City Council to prove it.
Fact: I was supportive of Eva Claire, especially when you told my neighbor and I that you had no interest in ever owing a bar and that you had no plans to use the back part of your property for anything other than maybe storing some building equipment back there since you are a building contractor. We know how that turned out. As you were building out your office, you moved in the Air Stream that is now the center piece of your bar and the roach coach that is now the food cart for your bar.
Fact: You stood before City Council during your rezoning hearing and said that you would like to have live entertainment occassionally. Your agreed that any amplified sound would be kept INSIDE of your bar and that there would be NO AMPLIFIED SOUND in the OPEN AREAS of your property. (this part of the hearing is about 1hr and 5 mins into that evenings rezoning hearing)
Fact: You removed a section of setback boundry railing and installed a stage in the open area as close to your rear residential neighbor as you could get it, which puts it less than 100ft from my house. Rude.
Fact: You keep trotting out the tired old canard about homeowners who bought homes close to a commercial property.... That we can't complain about noise. I know your view on noise....that you think it's a petty compaint.
The average city block is 300 ft. My home is more than 300 ft from Nebraska Ave, so technically my home is not located in the first block adjacent to commercial property, and yet your stage is right across the street from my property. I admit that I failed to imagine that a bar that fronts on Nebraska Ave would erect a stage 300 ft back from Nebraska Ave, in a location that is surrounded by residential. You got me there. I have to tip my hat to you.....you are clever and your connection to city hall serves you well.
But is it too much to ask that you might operate your business with a shred of decency and consideration for those of us who have our lives impacted negatively by your bar every time a band plays?
I have millenial neighbors who would be customers of yours if you showed respect for their right to enjoy their homes and back yards with friends on weekends without be drowned out by your music. They boycott Mullet just like I do. And they talk to their friends and neighbors, just like I do.....
We all think, and keep hoping that you...
Read moreWhat a wonderful brewery. I met some of my friends here for a baby play date and it was awesome having an outdoor green area. The bigger kids were able to run around, we were able to lay out a blank for the babies to play on, and the adults had plenty of space to socialize.
I had to wait a while for my food but all my friends said the food was with the wait and that it was delicious. I agree, when I finally did get my food, I thought the fries were crunchy and flavorful and the mullet sandwich was yummy.
There was only one person cooking in the food truck. I felt like during a game/busy hours, there should have been one more person to help cook in the kitchen and flex to help run the food.
One of the servers were walking around looking to handoff a sandwich and I remember asking if it was #28 and they said no it was #26. This might have been 45 minutes after I ordered which was ok of a wait because they were busy. But every so often, they would walk around looking for the sandwich owner. Meanwhile I’m moving my sign from table to chair, waived it playfully, and even put it on my head for a hot second. I decided to get up finally and look at the receipt orders, and didn’t see my number anywhere in that line. I asked one of the workers politely if my order #28 was in queue. She replied, “As you can see we have a line of orders we’re waiting on and we’re now just serving orders from 12:08 (or something) so if you ordered after that we’re working on it.” Eventually a different worker walked by with the sandwich and I asked if that was for #28 and she said, “Yes! We’ve been looking for you!”
I’m definitely not the one to care about a misunderstanding or be upset about a wait time. I’m just more upset that the worker had this notion that I wasn’t patient and duh of course there’s all these orders so just sit around endlessly after I politely asked for some clarification after patiently waiting an hour in the first place. Instead of just checking the current lines to see if my number was there, then checking the completed stack if not.
I’ll recommend this place to my friends, and I still think highly of the workers and them...
Read moreThe owner might want to tell his employees to be a little more accommodating... We were holding a smaller get together at this establishment (around 10 ppl), and a few of us just arrived, as we were talking we noticed more people in our party were arriving, and we decided to move two tables together which is nothing out of the ordinary to do, but the bearded tall guy behind was a cranky boy/heavy flow day that day, and he yelled at the top of his lungs "HEY YOU, DO NOT MOVE THOSE TABLES" - in the most sour cranky boy tone. All the patrons of the bar got extremely quiet, looked at him, and then us. If it was up to me, I would have used some choice words, and this sorry excuse for an outside bar wouldnt have received our parties money (trust me, it won't ever again). So instead of moving the tables, we were going to bring a few chairs from the outside area around our table, and once again we were told we could not do this (this time by a woman). Not only are they not accommodating, they treat you like a child too, in order to get any game pieces for the outside games, you must give them your ID first, they take it for the duration of your game play. So in conclusion if you want to have a larger party here, DONT. Literally a Publix parking lot is more accommodating than this place. What a joke...
