Zaxbys Chicken Fingers & Buffalo Wings — Restaurant in Tampa

So, this was an interesting experience. The employees were sitting in a booth chatting and having a good time while we waited for them to come over and take our order. Once we ordered we fell into the void of nothingness as the girls went back to the booth to laugh, chat and have fun. 10 minutes later my husband leaned over and asked if they were still cooking our food - he thought they may have forgotten about us- it was seven additional minutes after that before receiving our order. My son then made the tragic mistake of going to ask for bbq sauce. They charged him the twenty-five cent fee and went back to chatting without giving him the sauce. He politely stood at the counter and watched the young woman and man in the back chat for a while longer before he finally interrupted and asked if they were going to bring him the sauce he requested. He was told, "yeah, just a minute someone is getting it for you." It was five more minutes before he returned with the sauce. This was like a group of young kids hanging out without any supervision, playing at running a business. Still sort of stunned - almost like a Saturday Night Live skit. Staffing and training are important, and management as well as leadership are key for success. It does not matter how the food is if the process with which one must endure to get it is excruciatingly painful. So...

This was an horrible experience placed my order at 3:13 pm through the drive thru didn’t get my order until 3:50 pm the girl Trinity kept talking at the window handing out orders wrong they told me to pull up because they were waiting on fries 8 other cars behind me didn’t have to pull up nor wait they got their order with no problem after 20 mins a kid comes outside with a different meal then what I ordered and then another 15 mins go by I walk inside I was greeted by Mable and she said a free meal on me I need more than that waiting 45 mins for 1 meal and loaded bacon fries is ridiculous. The fries didn’t have bacon on them. I ordered sweet and spicy flavor it was a hot mustard type of sauce that was gross and I couldn’t eat it. This is the WORST Zaxby's I have ever been to. I travelled here from Land O Lakes to get my favorite fried chicken and was beyond disappointed with my experience. When I arrived there was a long line of people unsure of who was next and which register to go to. That was annoying but not that big of a deal. When I finally got to the register the female cashier was the most rude food service employee I've ever encountered. She kept getting my order wrong and after reiterating it to her 3 times she got the food correct but still charged me for an extra drink... After I placed my order I had to wait another 10 minutes for my food to be ready (fast food for sure). When my food was presented to me THE ORDER WAS WRONG. After explaining what I wanted 3 times the order still came out wrong.
