My husband and I were craving KFC a week ago and went to get some late morning drive thru. We got there at 10:35 and decided to wait the extra 25 minutes until they open at 11:00. We watched employees walk in to work and other customers pull up and start waiting. At 11:00 on the dot, they opened their doors to let the first customer in so we moved on to the drive thru. The employee greeted us, said she was ready to take our order, but they they didn't have any...wait for it... CHICKEN! What??? She said their cook arrived late for work so they didn't have ANYTHING cooked and could only sell sides. Most restaurants, in my experience, begin working an hour or two before opening and get their prep work out of the way and start cooking their first batch of food so that it's ready when the doors open. Also, most restaurants have more than one cook!!! I mean, really? The entire operations of this place rests on the shoulders of ONE person cooking chicken? When you see that this person is obviously going to be late, either A): Call in someone else or B): Pick up a few pieces of chicken and drop them in the fryer yourself! I'm sure there was some sort of manager there at opening time. Could he/she not perform this simple task? We were pretty disappointed at KFC this visit. We waited almost half an hour to be told they didn't have the main thing they're know for and pretty much the only thing on the menu. Why even open your doors??? Come on guys and girls... You can do better than that. The food is always good (when they have food) but I just couldn't see giving more than one star when they can't serve the food that's a part of the...
Read moreI don't usually eat meat, and the only reason I came here was because the Taco Bell next door (where I planned to get food from the drive thru) was closed for maintenance. I'm not really familiar with the KFC menu, so I kind of panicked trying to find something cheap and filling to eat before work. Forget cheap. Nothing on the KFC menu is cheap. I settled quickly on a Fill Up Box with a pot pie. I wish I had thought to ask for a pot pie alone. Don't get me wrong. The soda was delicious, as sodas are, but I didn't really need a Dr. Pepper at noon on a Tuesday. The cookie was not good. It tasted like plastic and not like it had picked up the taste of the plastic it was wrapped in. It tasted entirely synthetic. However. The pot pie. The pot pie was so good! The crust was flakey and delicious. All of the chicken pieces in the filling were juicy and tender. It was so good. I wish I could eat a KFC pot pie every day!!! Dustin who took my order was polite and efficient. The lady who handed my order to me was also very sweet. Don't know what was going on with the outside garbage can, but there was KFC trash on the ground all around it, as if it had been attacked by a bear. All in all, a...
Read moreThe worst customer service ever experienced. I went through the drive thru and started to place my order and the man taking the order was not patient and rude. When I felt like he wasn't listening to what I want I told him that I was just going to come in and he said to me these exact words" You know what man, we are not going to serve you." I was very upset and asked him at the window what his problem was and that I was just telling him that I was just going to come in and he continued to interrupt me and tell me are you going to listen to me and I was very upset then and asked him to speak to his manager, and that's when he replied "Bye!" Very rudely and he said if I didn't leave that he was going to call the police, at which time I said go ahead that I would be waiting for him in the front, but I was so upset that I left and decided to report him. This is not the first time that I have had bad customer service at KFC. I will not go there again and would recommend somewhere else to anyone that...
