The Taos Taco Bell is a locally owned, franchised, fast food restaurant that has more of a "Family Owned" ambience to it than what you would expect of a national chain restaurant. This Taco Bell is always clean, neat, organized and the Food is made and served with attention to detail, the meats and other foods that fill their famous Burritos, Crispy Tacos, Soft Tacos, Tostadas, Quesadillas and more, are Always Cooked just right and long enough that "Well Done" or Done Right is an Honest and Accurate Description of the Taos Taco Bell's Food Items. Another description that truly represents the menu at Taos' only Taco Bell Fast Food Restaurant, is Delicious, Budget Friendly and the employees and management/owners are also Friendly and Professional! I personally enjoy going to the Taos Taco Bell, sometimes to eat inside their modestly sized dining area, where you can enjoy some Crispy Tacos, regular or supreme, or maybe a Burrito Supreme or a Tostada, with their tasty Signature Taco Bell Hot, Medium or Mild Taco Sauce and a nice cold drink from their Beverage machine, where you can choose from traditional Cola style Soft Drinks, or the Lemon Lime, Root Beer or Ice Tea and more. The Taos Taco Bell has large windows so from where we you sit in the dining area, you will also enjoy the beautiful and sweeping views of the Sangre De Cristo Mountains, so check this place out, The Taco Bell de Taos! Drive-Thru service is also available. For Locals and Visitors, the Taos Taco Bell is a "fast food" restaurant I most...
Read moreUpdate 9/17/2025: New manager has completely turned this store around. I'm glad. I missed going to Taco Bell in my own hometown. I hope they're paying him well. He deserves a raise.
Updated: The inconsistencies here for my last four visits are ridiculous. They fired the entire staff that kicked ass and were somehow able to get the job done to only result in an understaffed store that will yell that they aren't taking orders when you walk into the place at 12:30 in the afternoon & the store & drive through are filled and you've made an online order. They'll tell you to cancel it. I've pulled into the drive through at 9:15 in the morning with an online order accepted and an open sign lit store hours saying 8:30 am and they're not taking orders. They'll tell you to cancel it. Another time i had an online lunch order. Came in to pick it up to watch a while line of vehicles & people walking in and ordered and got served. When i ask about my order they said that they weren't taking online orders because their other counter was closed. After standing & waiting for 25 minutes!
Today i was just in there at 11:30 am. Only 3 workers and one was dealing with the truck. How does the manager or owner think they can handle lunch with a truck & 2 people??
End of update sept. 2024
Service here has been excellent. Whether it's counter or on the app, they get special changes (no tomato... grill...sub steak, stuff like that) correct. Decent music always playing...
Read moreWe were vacationing in the area and went through your drive through around 8:30 pm Sunday August 1st 2021. There were no cars in the drive through in the parking lot and no one eating inside that I could see , Thus they did not appear busy. The person taking our order appeared inpatient and rude. He asked something like "What's your Order" . I politely explained we were not ready yet. Very shortly he came back and said something like" Are you ready yet" I said just a minute and feeling rushed we placed our order. No thank you etc. Just " Drive up to the window" As we did I commented to my spouse that guy was so rude! He said I know, must hate his job. I said I understand that but he should get out of the customer service business then. We drove to the window. He just looked at us , no comment about the total etc...nothing. I gave him my credit card . He gave it back, no thank you etc., and no receipt. we could locate. When we dot to the hotel we realized we did not get any utensils, hot sauce or napkins. It was a very sad experience. I understand COVID staff shortages etc., but intentional rudeness is no excuse. I hope you identify the staff member in drive through that time and date, and discuss this with them, especially if it was a manager on...
