Tractor Supply Co. — Local services in Taos

This is a nice, new, big store. Everything looks clean. It is FULL of merchandise. It seems very crowded.

Cash register/check out area is very confusing. It is more like a big circle than regular lanes like at most every other store in the USA. Is it self check? Where is the cashier? Am I even in line?

Speaking of the cashier, she did not ask if I was a member of the rewards program. I was only buying a $2 can of dog food, so I didn't say anything about her oversight. Maybe she didn't ask because she thought a $2 sale wasn't worth the trouble.

I like that I can bring my dog in here. I don't want to leave her in the hot car if I can bring her inside.

Eternally empty shelves. friendly and attentive staff. This place would be really an asset to taos if they would ever restock the shelves. in the last 36 months i have left empty handed on 3 occasions simply because the shelves remain empty. On every other occasion, I consistently arrive there intending to purchase tools, bird feed, chain connections, bailing wire, you name it, and only purchase a few items because absolutely nothing is restocked. the shelves in every department have huge empty gaps which never get filled. meanwhile,Randall Lumber, and Ace Hardware in Taos manage to stay fully stocked, so one cannot say that this is a supply chain issue. I just want to say the Manager, Veronica, is a really great person! I had a terrible experience with the Tractor Supply store in Bernalillo, NM after being sent there from the Taos, NM store. The asst. manager in Bernalillo was RUDE and wouldn't hear me out. He argued with me and eventually hung up on me. I called the Taos store simply to get a # for the corporate office to file a complaint. I didn't know at the time who I was speaking to but she asked if she could be of any help. So I explained my experience to her and she had no problems or questions in making it right. Customer service is on point in Taos from the manager on down. I appreciate all of them.
