One word to describe this place “OUTSTANDING”! my husband told me about this place as he was passing by it during work. I have to say, we are sooo happy we don’t have to travel 30 mins to get cachupa! The cachupa refogado is packed with flavor and not dry and pale like other places we’ve tried. Service and hospitality was amazing. The place is very clean, organized and well put together. We will definitely be back very soon! Thank you Islands cafe & bakery !

I ordered a custom cake from Josi and it turned out better than I could have imagined. She took every idea I had and turned it into a delicious piece of art. The filling was fresh and delicious, and made such a wonderful memory for my mother's birthday. I recommend Islands for all your cake needs and dreams!

Ordered takeout for my Cape Verdean family who raved about the cod, ribs and Oreo/Reeces Pieces/Biscoff Butter cheesecake slices. The owner is super friendly and sweet. Feels like family. I wish them great success.

such an amazing, personable experience every time i come here. the food always slaps, i LOVE their sweets especially donettes n tres leches. i got my whole family hooked on their resois- SO worth it

This Cape Verdean café is a true gem. The food is incredible—rich, flavorful, and made with love. Their doce de leite? The only one I’ve had that comes close to my mãe’s. Creamy, sweet, and absolutely unforgettable as good as mom's.
