Mediterranean Bar & Grill — Restaurant in Taunton

After a long day at work. I took a detour on my ride home to get food. I ordered takeout from the counter. The grill wasn't working. So I ordered two slices of coconut cake and a salad with a side of shrimp and an additional extra side order of shrimp. The salads are pre-made. Therefore the only thing that needs to be made for my order is the shrimp. It took all of 30 minutes get my order. Meanwhile as I sat waiting for my food the gentleman that ordered after me got his huge order of food before I got my salad. Staff were standing around socializing and looked very unorganized. Finally after sitting and waiting so long a female staff. I presume she was the manager, came and asked me what I ordered. I stated a salad. She then put my order together and let me know when I paid for my order earlier that I wasn't charged an additional $10 for the extra side order of shrimp. I explained to her that I had been sitting and waiting for my order of salad for 30 min. The guy who ordered after received his huge order before I received a salad. She looked at me and said yeah there was some confusion and again reminded me I owe $10 for the shrimp. I'm sorry but The shrimp she was charging $10 should of been a courtesy for the confusion and my time that was wasted. Especially after I had already paid for my order earlier when I placed my order. However instead of the shrimp being a courtesy for their mistake, confusion and my time that was wasted...the female/manager opened the container my salad was and removed 8 pieces of shrimp(the extra side order) from the salad. What HORRIBLE customer service. Especially coming from the manager. Shame on You!!! I will not return to this place ever again. I will share my experience of what took place with family members and friends who have been here in the past and ask thru no longer dine here. The food is consistently good. Unfortunately, the other thing that has been consistent here is the poor customer service. Our last two takeout orders in a row had the exact same issue - missing tzatziki from the zucchini fries. When I called to let them know, I was offered a credit for the zucchini fries or told to return to pick up the tzatziki. I was already planning to return for it - who wants zucchini fries without tzatziki? Understandably, I wasn't pleasant, but I was neither rude nor unreasonable when I expressed frustration that this has happened two times in a row and caused an extra 30 minutes of driving each time. I was given a defensive and insincere apology by the woman on the phone. When I inquired if she would be willing to refund me for the zucchini sticks since I had to return back twice now for the same issue, I was told that it was their policy not to offer a refund because I had received the food. She told me she would "be willing" to give me extra sauce when I arrived to pick up the missing items. What a poor policy - inconvenience customers repeatedly and then insult them. It's just not...

Stopped in to order take out .Had been here several times before to eat in food and service was good . But the take out experience was an exception. The girl at register had no idea what she was doing .First off I had a gift card from Christmas that was a promo spend so much on gift cards get 10 free card .She claimed it had zero balance .She asked another girl who just shrugged her shoulders .l told them forget about the card .After standing there 10 minutes.Our order took over 20 minutes .It was not busy there at this time and there were so much staff just walking talking to one another .Food finally comes out and staff starts bagging phone rings she stops and runs to phone. Another staff member proceeds to bag order .She jams the stapler and tried to unjam after several attempts of throwing the staples across the floor she finally staples bag and gives it to us .While sitting waiting for order also observed cook in cooking area eating a meal while cooking ?
