Funcity Adventure Park — Attraction in Taunton

I recently had a birthday party there January 4 and I want to say that I regret it having it there. I went online to get all the information and I made a deposit but I should’ve asked for more details before doing so so here is my experience they charged me $320 for 10 Kids package for a private room ,which came with two medium pizzas which was supposed to be a large from Domino’s and then they provide 10 juice Capri Suns so basically each kid only got one juice. I guess they didn’t think that the parents needed anything or the kids gonna get thirsty and want more drinks so luckily I brought my own drinks in my own cooler with ice because the refrigerator that was in the room didn’t even work, I also brought my food because two medium pizzas is not going to feed 10 kids and then obviously their parents are there. then we were only allowed an hour and a half in that room. We were kicked out of the room into the main room. It just ruined the experience everything was very timed .so the kids could only jump for a certain amount of time and then they had to come in ice cream eat the cake and then we were kicked out of the section for $320. I should’ve had a better experience than that for the owners here they were about the money and the money only. I would never book a party here and I hope anyone else wouldn’t either it’s not worth it. Also, I forgot to mention the birthday person is included in the 10 kids so technically, you can only invite nine people in that package. The kids didn’t even enjoy themselves like they could have. also, they only give you five minutes to decorate the room so basically they have people before you that they gotta kick out clean up and then here you come behind them so it’s like every hour and a half so you could tell these people just wanna make the money off the room and not the experience, get a person in rush out get another person and rush out and that is horrible but I will say the server that was there was really really nice I wish I would’ve looked at the reviews before I booked this party because it seems as though everything that I have experience lots of other people have and I believe this place is by Asians and it’s sad to say but true every experience I’ve had with an Asian establishment. It’s always about the money and never about the customer and customer service, it’s really sad. They won’t give you nothing for free or complementary for being a good customer. If they do something wrong, they will never you accommodate you. They will always make it your fault, but hopefully people read the reviews before they booked this place because I’m telling you you’re gonna be disappointed, not only that the the game cards that come with the package they were only able to play...

I found this place on Google and I wanted to try it out with my kids. I pulled into the parking lot and I wondered why there was barely anyone there but after this visit, I won’t be returning. The only reason I am giving 2 stars is because of the staff member in charge of bumper cars the night we came and the staff in charge of the obstacle course because their customer service outdid I’m assuming the manager/owner who height checked my children when we entered even after purchasing tickets beforehand and completing the waiver. Apparently they go off height and not age when it comes to purchasing tickets and my children are on the taller side ranging from 2-5 years and I have NEVER went to a trampoline park and my children were height checked. There was not even a welcoming greeting or smile on her face and just a wave of her hand to ask me to come up to the counter and I was the ONLY one in line so she smacks the counter a couple times to let me know that is what they use to measure children. So I asked her if their tickets are based on height or age and no straight answer other than referring to the height of the counter and a laminated card with height requirements and prices and letting me know the difference she is charging me because 2 of my tickets do not meet their height requirements in all of a sudden lower tone so I had to keep asking her to repeat herself because I couldn’t understand what she was saying. Please note that unlike any other trampoline parks, there aren’t any staff on the trampoline floor like what I am used to when going to other establishments and there is not a toddler section specifically for smaller children on the jump floor. This establishment is also not as big as other reviewers with higher ratings make it out to be and is good for everything BUT the trampoline park. They have a playground/ball pit area in the center of the floor two obstacle courses, rock climbing walls, small bumper car area and a small arcade with maybe 15 games (or less) I didn’t count. The bathrooms smelled horrible and could use more maintenance and upkeep. Customer service needs to be worked on here. The price is not worth it to me compared to other establishments and if my 4 and 5 year olds don’t want to return either and would rather go elsewhere, that says something! I wish I could have gotten the names of the individuals who helped my children because they deserve the recognition but to save you the navigation of their website, it is $24 for 1.5 hour play GA and $16.00 for toddler admission. I didn’t even care to see if they had food/drinks but they did have picnic tables to sit at. I have been there few times place over all is fun for kids but they need to have more staff on the area if the dodge ball . I sat there for 45 minutes. No staff member showed up, but I had five of my kids there playing like normal not being disrespectful when there comes another group that comes in that are probably about two years older then everyone playing and begin to play really aggressive (bullies) as towards aiming to a person’s face directly 5 feet away and laughing ganging up three kids on one boy and calling vulgar names out I had to keep asking the kids on the other side to play right and no hitting with ball above the chest area, but they laughed and continued being rude. Given the middle finger , I look for the parents nobody was around. It finally got really violent when my daughter got hit in the Face several times , she’s only eight years old, but the boy who hit in her face was about 13 years of age. I think this is unacceptable behavior and place like this should always staff member there to control other kids from getting to out of control . This is a place for kids to have fun not to be scared because other kids are making fun of them swearing and pointing the middle finger. Finally I couldn’t take it anymore. I pulled my kids out of there and we went to the front desk. I went up to management and I explained the story and they were aware of it, she claimed instantly seems like somebody else had already complained, but it was already too late . as a parent, I decided to leave because the kids were not happy there anymore even though I had unlimited time that I paid for five kids. I cut my trip short there by two hours only being there almost and I decided it was best to leave to not have a big argument with any parents. It’s Great that they have security upfront, but that’s not gonna do any good if they can’t see what’s happening in the back areas

As a family we got to both locations pretty much every week for many years, but it’s sad to say that if management does not have full control of every section of fun city adventure land the bad crowd of kids can really ruin things for everybody.

I hope that management really tightens up and keeps somebody there all times so this doesn’t happen to someone else because it was very disappointing especially when two kids age of nine and eight years of age have to be crying because their eye hurts because they got hit really hard in the face with a very soft ball but when you are 5 feet away You will definitely have a mark on your face temporarily absolutelyno...
