I would rate zero star, but I had to give one star to posted a comment. I normally don't waste my time to posted a comment but Ifelt compelled to leave a comment this time. All I was trying to do is get a refund On Saturday, April 11th, I placed an online delivery order, in which I received a telephone call about 3 or 5 minutes later stating that they cannot deliver at my resident. I was given two options to either pick up the order in person or have the order void/cancel. I elected to cancel the order . I did not think anything of it because I assumed being that I canceled the order my bank account wouldn't be charged. However, it wasn't the case. My bank account was charged for an order I canceled. When I made a telephone call on Monday, April 13th, I was told that it would take 24 to 48 hours to recredit my account of the amount charged to my bank account And if it isn't corrected by Wednesday, April 15th to them back, and someone will help to take care of it . Mind you prior to me calling, I went online through their customer service and stated my concern. And was told the same thing that it should take 24 to 48 hours before, my account is recredit the amount charged to my account I explained to the person it wasn't in pending status. It was already withdrawn from my account.Which I was told 24 to 48 hours still applies Well, on Wednesday, April 15th around 5:28 p.m., I called Karl Pizza and informed the staff the problem I was having with a mistake made on their behalf, and my account wasn't recredit. So she asked me if I would like to speak with a manager? I said, yes Well, a Manager iby the name Nikki told me that she doesn't have any control if the money being recredit into my account because another company in Florida handled their online website and charges made through their online site. She stated, all she can do is call them again to recredit my account. So I asked if she'd needed my name, order number, address or anything? She said, no I have the address because we called it in on Monday. As we were talking she stated that next time prior to making an order online, maybe you should call to see whether or not they can deliver to your address? I told her that I shouldn't have to call into the restaurant if they offer online service and advertise delivery service Maybe the restaurant would have something installed within their software or outline on their website that they don't deliver in certain areas? Then she went on to say, we don't deliver in your area because of the high crime rate. I've had several of my deliveries whose been robbed, which caused us to discontinue service in that area. I advised her that I don't know what area she's referring to, because we've never had a problem her. She then stated over in those apartment complexes I told her that I do not live in apartment complex and that it's a gated community in order to gain access. But I find your statement to be inappropriate and offensive, and it has nothing to do with my issue nor concern But being that you said that, you do not have to worry about me ordering anything from your restaurant in future. All I wanted you to do is refund my account and we can be done completely. She wanted to explained to me that what she was saying wasn't meant to be offensive or inappropriate but facts. However, her comment wasn't fact, it was her opinion. It was a perception based on a perceive location and nothing to do with my address or my gated community. She had the wrong location My advise to her 30 years of service in the pizzeria business. Regardless of what you might want to share or enlightening someone on? If it's not going to be perceive with the best intention at heart or be taken out of context to the point someone might take offense to it? It's probably best not to say it and keep it to yourself!! Maybe, Karl Pizza might want to teach some employees better customer service and sensitivity training?? Because I don't know of any one who spend there money to be mistreated, nor talk to in a condescending manner or...
Read moreSo I have recently become kind of obsessed with breasted chicken (I tried it for the first time a few months ago) but with our family of 5, it can get quite expensive. We’ve tried a few places, and tonight we decided to try Karl’s! Their breasted chicken dinners come with fries, corn bread, AND one side!! That’s much more than any other place around here gives.. and we love our sides. Lol the food was still piping hot & fresh when it was delivered, I actually had to let it cool off to serve my little two. & It was absolutely delicious!! The chicken, fries, macaroni salad, coleslaw, AND cornbread were all superb! (And I am VERY picky about coleslaw and macaroni salad) I see people complaining about their fries being under the meat, but those were the best fries in our opinion! Lol I tried to put as many of those ones on my plate as I could. And to top it all off, it was delivered 50 minutes EARLIER than their estimated delivery time! The delivery guy was friendly and had a smile on his face.. 10/10 in our book. Even my kids devoured it. Will definitely be ordering again!...
Read moreOrdered pizza rolls on the 21st of april 2020 online, a few minutes later I called back to add 3 more rolls..they said we will just refund your money for the first order and then just charge ur debit for all of it together. I looked at my payments and still have not been refunded for the first amount. I called and talked to the manager twice and first time she said it would be refunded by 27th and its a 3rd party company out of florida who does the refunds...the 27th has come and gone, called again on the 30th and she tells me the 3rd party company is suppose to handle it and it's out of her control, so I ask for the 3rd parties phone number who she told me was out of florida and the number is a (248) area code so clearly I'm getting the run around...and from the way it sounded like when she said she keeps sending in pics and acct info for others also, I'm not the only one this is happening to. I will never order from Karls Pizza in Taylor again...it should not be this difficult to get money back that does not belong to them. watch your...
