Went there very early this morning to get my husband and one of his employees something to eat.
The restaurant wasn't busy at all and I placed a very simple order (cheeseburger combo and a spicy chicken burrito combo) so one would think they would get it right. I also purchased a $50.00 gift card for my MIL since she doesn't really cook anymore.
I found out this morning they messed up my husband's food when he told me, "Thanks, but it's not something I normally would have ordered." Instead of a spicy chicken burrito, they gave me a bean burrito in error.
I called to speak with the manager and there wasn't one. Twice someone picked up the phone and immediately hung it up. When someone finally did answer, instead of offering to correct the issue, the woman asked if I had my receipt. I told her I didn't, but that I have the credit card I purchased it with. She told me no receipt, nothing she can do.
I spent almost $79.00 at that hell hole and they can't even offer to give me one spicy chicken burrito which is what I paid for.
I told the employee I spoke with that I have the $50 gift card and the receipt for that as they made me pay separately. I could show her that receipt in good faith. Still nope!
I'm not happy...I'm thinking I should return their gift card, get my money back, and buy my MIL a gift card to some other restaurant.
The level of incompetence and lack of customer service these days is stifling. I didn't ask for a whole meal...just the food item I paid for that I was shorted.

We clarified with the person who took our order, who missed it the first time we were making the order and he repeated it back to us, that we needed this extra drink, 6 drinks in total. When we pull up to the window, we get 5 drinks. We ask for the six drink, and Beatris says "Extra sprite? I'm pretty sure I gave it to you." My husband "We ordered 2 sprites" Beatris "No you didn't, you ordered -order-" Husband " Yes but we clarified with the person who made the order 6 drinks" It was like she put up a fight about a drink. We said "we will pay for it we just want the drink" Then as we get the drink, she doesn't charge us. We wait for our order, and are waved off as to say we were all set. We get home and we were missing a whole meal. I know you guys get busy, but do not take it out on your paying customers, especially when you can't get an order right, or expedite it. I had forgotten to bring food with me and had been at a meeting and was on my way to my son's baseball game. I thought I'd go drive-thru at del taco and see if I can find something without meat.
Lo and behold there using beyond meat to make a vegan taco!!! I ordered two of the avocado beyond SOFT tacos and they were fantastic, I really felt like I was eating real food! It was incredibly satisfying, and very tasty. I also had some of the lime cilantro rice it was very nice consistency a wonderful mild flavor and complimented my vegan soft tacos very well! If you want these to be good vegan and plant-based don't get the cheese! I can't wait till I give myself a treat like that again!
