This was our first time to Taylorsville Swig. While we were waiting in line we were trying to get the menu on our phones but we’re having very slow internet, a girl came to our window to take our order. I told her we didn’t know the menu, so we didn’t know what we wanted yet until we could see the menu board. 1st PROBLEM: Her response was, well you should have had it pulled up on your phone. I told her that the internet was being very slow and she said well you’re just going to have to order at the window then wait longer. When we got to the window we told the girl what we wanted, mine had lemonade in it. 2nd PROBLEM: She said, we don’t have any lemonade you will have to hurry and decide on something else. (There were no car’s behind us). I told her I had not been able to get the menu pulled up so I guess just give us only the one drink that my husband ordered. She stuck the card reader out and I inserted my card, while we were waiting on the card, she said to me, 3rd PROBLEM: Our card reader is having issues, you are just going to have to read to me all the information on it. Ok, seriously?! She couldn’t take the information down without me having to read it to her. I said just cancel the order, we will just go somewhere else, 4th PROBLEM: Her reply? Ok that’s fine. No I’m sorry or anything just ok that fine. Well we won’t...

There were 12 cars in front of us so we figured about 2 minutes of car that sucks 24 minutes, but we weren't there even 8 minutes. It's very strange though they say you can order for pickup but you only have a drive to option and some people don't want to wait in the drive-thru for that long.
We watched multiple cars pulled out of line because the line was so long, that's lost money. I understand it makes your staff smaller and you only have one thing to focus on but there are ways to do a pickup window many other restaurants prove that. I would normally rate any swig a two or lower because the weights just too long but here they have it...
Read moreFigured I would see what all the fuss was about and tried Swig for the first time (not a big soda drinker but my daughter has been begging me forever). The customer service was outstanding, great location, and the employees are very friendly. I hate to say I am not a fan, I ordered the riptide thinking I would taste raspberry (raspberry purée listed as ingredient) but all I could taste was Sprite with a little extra lime flavor. Ordered the sugar cookie and the chocolate one, while the first taste is what you would expect, sugary sweet, the after taste and film it left in my mouth was awful. Keep in mind this is a review from someone who typically doesn’t consume soda and bakes cookies at home, so take it for...
