Arctic Circle — Restaurant in Taylorsville

Absolutely DISGUSTING!! We came here and ate inside. I watched the cook just grab a handful of frozen food with his bare hands and then wipe them on his apron without washing his hands. That should have been my first clue to go elsewhere. But I didn't. The staff was ignoring me while I stood at the counter trying to order. One girl was just sitting on the floor. Finally when the kid was ready to take my order he just stared at me. Didn't ask if I was ready just stood there. I had to ask him if I can order. While I waited for our food, we had sat at a table furthest away from the counter. This building isn't that big but the staff then started talking about finger banging. This is totally inappropriate conversation ESPECIALLY while you have customers in the building. I went and got a refill and the girl with a headset on asks a customer to repeat what they had just said. She then started to talk bad about that customer. Making fun of him. After we finished our food, I went back up and wanted to order ice cream. The same girl that was bad mouthing the drive threw customer, very rudely asked what else I needed. I got my order and went back to our table. We then heard the staff arguing/fighting. One girl is crying hysterically and blaming the other person. Another employee made them all go in the back but we could still hear the screaming/crying. At this point, we just got up and left. Honestly, if we weren't there visiting with an out of town family member, we wouldn't have stayed. I will never go to this establishment again. The staff doesn't wash their hands, they dont wear gloves, they talk bad about their customers, they fight, and they talk about inappropriate things. I love Arctic Circle and their food! Its one place left open that I remember going to for a treat all through my childhood. My issue is with this location. Before i get into anything i definitely want to point out that the one star i give is very much deserved because they always have a young, energetic staff that is always very nice and positive! Getting into the dirt though... Arctic Circle is a food service place, right? Customer service is very important but i mainly go to Arctic Circle in hopes of leaving with food. The only time we went their and got everything we were hoping for was when we had the small order of one large chocolate shake. We go there every now and then when we get off work at 8:00 pm. So 2 hours before close so you wouldn't think they'd be CONSTANTLY out of food at that time. We've gone and their "soft serve ice cream machine was out of service". In another trip they were "all out of sweet potato fries". In a different trip they were "out of those mini corn dog things". Another trip their "shake machine was out of order". And yet in ANOTHER trip that just took place today, we pull up to the window and the young man asks if we would like to try their cheese curds which is why we went their to begin with, cause thats what we were craving after work so we said yes and that we'd like two 1/2 lb cheese curds and the young man started laughing and apologizing and then states "I'm so sorry the cook just informed me that we're out." we debated on just leaving but i decided to get a large shake only and we left. I'm about ready to give up all hope on this...

I will never visit this restaurant again. First of all this place is a dump. The floors were sticky the restroom was filthy and smelled. The service is awefull. When we pulled up there were 5 cars in the drive thru. 35 minutes later we had not moved a single inch. We went into the store to order and the store had 2 groups of people. It was not busy. I don't know why they are so slow. But it is this way every visit. The food is fine. But the halibut has changed. The price is 15$ but it is half the size it used to be and honestly I do not think it was halibut. The worst part about this low grade food establishment is the fact that they are priced higher than every single other fast food establishment. A large soda with tax was 3.59. the small fry and 4 small fish sticks was 14.99 a small shake 5 +$

Don't go here they do not offer the quality they used to the have low grade products and outrageous prices. If I could give them a zero...
