My friend who stayed in Utah for a while has been bringing me to all the fun local joints in the area. We went to Harmon's yesterday and saw that Leatherby's was right across the street. So, today we made our way over for lunch.

My friend was shocked to see that it was slow. I guess this joint is always packed to the brim. With my kidney transplant, I am happy that it's kinda slow but it would have been fun to eat in a full house of guests.

We were sat right away. Joe served us today. My friend and I already checked out the menu while I was at my dr appointment. So, we knew what we wanted. Drinks were dropped off and orders were taken. I got to roam the floor and look at all the fun decor! I'm a sucker for candy in big jars! I love how they are all lined up nicely. The paintings of the ice cream sundaes were nicely painted. Whoever painted them did such a great job!

For lunch today I grabbed the crispy chicken buffalo sandwich. I did modify it a little. I did ask for grilled chicken and no bun with my sauces on the side. I also got the cream of broccoli for my side.

I'm not a big chicken breast girl but this chicken was great! The cheese was nicely melted over my chicken. The fried onions on top were the best! I did add a lot of buffalo sauce, so tasty. I dipped each bite into the ranch and it was the perfect bite every time! The cream of broccoli soup was soooooo good! Hearty chunks of broccoli and the soup was creamy. It was a delicious bowl.

We did get a Lydia's bananas foster to go. I'm looking forward to eating it! Joe did a great job taking care of us! The venue is super cute and fun!
