Dairy Queen (Treat) — Restaurant in Taylorville

Has horrible service. Teenage kids working with no adult is completely ruining the once and a while trip for ice cream plus way to expensive. Go through the drive through and ask for a small cotton candy blizzard and a mini mint oreo and I get a mini cotton candy and a medium mint oreo I ask why we have the sizes we didn't ask for and she brings back another thin mint but mini size i said no thats not what I asked for and she goes that cotton candy is a small and yours is a medium she made a medium on accident. I said well I would like my small cotton candy and repeatedly she had told me that it was a small. I am very unpleased and I would really appreciate a total refund. Just horrible service and all melted ice cream. What's the point of flipping it over if you don't even flip it half of the way....

Sign was on the drive up speaker said "speaker was broke and to pull up and order at the window" . We pulled up to order Waited at the window for over ten almost 15 mins... i eventually called DQ from my cellphone . Asked if they were open she replied yes I let her know we currently were waiting over ten mins on her. She then hung up on me. Came to the window . Never once apologized and then proceeded to tell us she was trying to avoid both order windows. But why come to work if your going to avoid taking people's orders. . Thank god for Our other choice. Our local ice cream place.. I see now why the DQ in our town has gone downhill so badly. Was just a bad experience, very poor customer service and apologizing or trying to make it right would...

First off, the drive-thru is very inconvenient. Makes me think of that commercial where the teenage boy is talking about a very unusually narrow drive through. Makes me laugh, but I don't like it. And when you are exiting, there are two concrete things you must drive through, and someone with a big truck might not make it.

This is the only Dairy Queen I have ever been to that does not sell sandwiches, just ice cream and desserts. So a chicken basket was definitely something I missed.

While we were there we ordered two ice cream cones, one medium, and one large. And honestly, I didn't see much difference in the size. And we ordered water, and they did...
