I am an all day coffee drinker. When this place came to town I was skeptical, because I have a soft spot for Starbucks. I've given it several months before leaving a review to be sure. The coffee is great, the ice cream is great, the pastries are great. If I could give it more than 5 stars, I would. I adore the staff. Its very rare that they mess up an order, and if they do they will remake it without hesitation. My husband is diabetic, so the recent addition of sugar free options for almost everything is amazing. Very nice, laid-back coffee shop neatly tucked away in the small town of Taylorville, IL. This cozy locally owned coffee shop has a very relaxing atmosphere. The staff always greets every customer with a smile. Every time my wife and I are in town, we stop in for a cup of real coffee and a snack. LP Coffee & Creamery is a great addition to a small town.
