I was passing through Tazwell on my way to KY and had some friends from LMU recommend this shop so I decided to stop for some yummy breakfast. I got a sausage egg and cheese croissant and some donuts. The food and donuts were amazing and the place was super clean. I had a terrible experience with the staff, specifically one girl. I only had one girl help me but I watched the rest of the staff from the line and they all seemed super friendly. The girl that helped me was a pretty girl who had short brown hair, was skinny, and big eyes. She just had a very “don’t give a crap” attitude about working there. I tried to ask her how her day was and make small talk but she just kept this stank look on her face the entire time. I was not gonna leave a review because I hate to leave a bad review somewhere with such delicious food but I mentioned this to my friends at LMU and they had the same experience with the same girl that I did. I wouldn’t mind to come back for the food and donuts but I dread the trip if that one...
Read moreUnfortunately, their hours are very inconsistent. Online says they’re open and when I’ve driven far to get there they aren’t. I call and they tell me different closing times every time. It seems like workers want to close early but changing the answer every time is upsetting. I’ve been told different hours every time I ask.
Edit**: Yes, you do know who I am since I have expressed this in person, too :) It's common information this business is inconsistent. Only posting here so others don't waste a drive like I have. I have tried to know when you are open for a while, so I can come in early. I've never been told these hours, so I'll add these to the list of times I have been told before. No worries. If a business can't communicate hours clearly and respectfully, I'll save my time and won't order! Have a...
Read moreI had pork loin and egg croissant, pork loin was tender and done no problem with the egg but the croissant was way way to sweet which in turn made the food taste weird (a note to the baker a croissant used for sandwiches don't use sugar in them) I also got an eclair before I got it I asked if it had real custard in it she said yes, I was excited its been a long time since I had a real one but, I was so disappointed the crust was made of donut dough and if it had custard inside I could not tell with a thin coat running from end to end and they are suppose to have a lot of real custard inside and not the one that have powered sugar in them. If I wanted doughnuts I would ask for donuts. I will not...
