I hope management sees this. We've recently moved here and its seemed to go downhill since we liked it a lot at first. My husband and I like to have a date night weekly and theres not much to choose in town so we often frequent here. However we are getting to the point where wed rather stay home and enjoy drinks and dinner in the comfort of our home. Theres one experience in particular that really turned my nose to this place. A group of us who visit once a week after work. It tends to be on the later side as that's what time we are out. This one time in particular the bartender Casey was rude and annoyed we were there late (9:30) told us to hurry up and order because kitchen was about to close. We made phone calls to others in our party so we could get their orders and place them before they closed the kitchen. On multiple occasions our drinks were empty but the bartender was too busy sitting in a booth with her girlfriends legs over her kissing her to notice and replace our empty drinks. I find it completely unprofessional to be interacting with your significant other in front of patrons like that. Not to mention she always has her back to the bar and is on her phone. She didn't write our orders down and half our meals were messed up. Not to mention on several other occasion they are out of the most basic things salads mashed potatoes shrimp etc. Multiple weeks in a row they were out of captain morgan gentleman jack and tito's all at the same time. Another time they had to run to food city while we were there to buy cranberry juice for my husbands drink. Food is just mediocre soda always flat alfredo always cold and wings both boneless and bone in are awful. Boneless are tiny overcooked pieces of chicken with no sauce and wings are overcooked with no sauce as well. They need to have better standards. We have been highly disappointed I hope they make...

I have had cold food, wrong order, different portions all in the past.So I called to complain and Brian Carpenter as owner and acting manager was more than helpful the first time. In fact he wanted me to come in and meet with him about the experience. A month later a wrong order issue at the bar. I was disrespected by the bartender even sent messages via text by her to my phone. That maybe I was right and shouldn't eat at O.T.G anymore. At that time I called to complain about the horrible service and food. The first call went to a hang up. The second asked me what it was about, I wouldn't tell them and was put on a extremely lengthy hold until nearly 5 minutes and I hung up. So because I asked for the manager or Brian Carpenter and was not getting anywhere I called other restaurants looking for him. I didn't know he was there in the New Tazewelll location his employees would give me management on the phone at all. When I did get management Donnie due to calling other O.T.G.'s he was willing to refund my money and did. While upset I did tell him I would anyplace even a Mexican grill before coming back to O.T.G.......Forward nearly 2 months since the first fiasco. I called to get a order for beer pretzel. The bartender puts Brian Carpenter on the phone. He tells me not to come??? What's wrong with your dichotomy Brian? O.T.G. Made the mistake and apologized twice for it. So when I forget about it you tell me not to come there??? Really?? I have never had any issue at the other O.T.G.s..... always been good service and food at other lications.....hmmm sound like a problem from the top to bottom Owner to employee at this O.T.G. you can't accept responsibility for your wrong doings...... Don't worry....... these reviews won't matter........I feel sorry for...
Read moreI came here last night with my family, we were seated immediately and not informed of any wait time. We were never offered bread for the table, we had to ask for some after the table behind us received theirs immediately after their arrival, I waited over 45 mins for a drink from the bar. I had to ask my waiter for the drink after waiting patiently she then said she forgot😐 We ordered regular drinks for the rest of the family my boy friend was given a child’s cup, and my 4 year old daughter was given a glass cup😕 The bathroom was HORRIBLE!!! I had to hold it for the entire experience 🤢 The appetizers came out , on time and were pretty good, so we were trying to look past everything and enjoy the night out. We continued to wait for and hour before having to flag our waiter down to ask what is going on. Our waiter never stopped over to ask how things were going and to see if we needed anything. Which we did I asked for additional sauces when the appetizers came out and never received them. We also were never offered a single drink refill. I spoke with the manager who took $8 off a $130 dollar bill which is laughable. Still we waited about 25 more minutes before our food finally came out and it was not that great. We got out to go boxes immediately after having been there almost 2 hours we were ready to go! I spoke with management after the family went to the car to discuss the entire experience from start to finish. She gave a un sincere apology, and just said she hopes that they can do better the next time we come🙄 We will NEVER be back. Which is sad because we were excited to have a good night out and to try this place . Take your money...
