I was quite satisfied with my experience at this establishment. They offered a lot of what I would want at an Italian restaurant, with a few suggestions. One suggestion I would make is to add a pizza of some sort to the menu. Perhaps you guys have one on a specials list, but I usually opt for pizza at sit down restaurants because I am usually not happy with pasta portions at restaurants. While they did not have my usual order, I went with the gnocchi which was a very good choice. I have not had that much gnocchi, but this was some of the best I had. The cheese sauce was so good, it tasted like the pasta was rolled around a melting cheese wheel while being cooked (some fancy places do that at the table side). While I would have liked a little bit more gnocchi, it was a filling dish and I was satisfied. The service was also quite impressive and I mean that literally. Our server read all of the specials to us one by one, and it was a ton of information he had to remember. He got it all out and clearly to where we understood, and one of my peers almost clapped. Very good job in having the answers to any food related question we had, I do not think I would have been able to memorize all those specials and present them under pressure. The food and drinks came out reasonably fast, but one thing I would suggest is adding free soda refills. The restaurant serves them by the small bottle and charges for refills; this means I was rationing my soda throughout the meal. With food this pricey, common soda refills should be complimentary. Eating pasta and cheese makes one quite thirsty, so this was not easy to do but I made my soda last. My experience would have been a little better if we had free refills; I could kick back and relax without having to worry about losing out on my drink before my food. Being able to take a sip when I am thirsty would have been really nice is all I am saying, not asking for free refills on alcohol just soda but I digress. Overall, this was a pleasant experience and I might even order that gnocchi again if I return. Keep up the quality food...
Read moreOur experience at BV Tuscany restaurant was extremely disappointing. My family and I went for dinner on a Saturday night to celebrate my brother's milestone birthday. Despite having reservations for six people at 5 PM, we were squeezed around a small table that barely accommodated us, leaving us feeling cramped and uncomfortable—hardly the atmosphere we had hoped for.
From the moment we arrived, we felt rushed and unwelcome. The waiter made it clear they were busy by mentioning that they were expecting more diners later in the evening and insisted we order our entrees at the same time as our appetizers. It felt as though we were being told to eat quickly so they could turn over the table. Ironically, when we left, several tables were still empty.
Throughout the meal, the staff was overly intrusive, constantly watching and hovering over us, which made the entire experience uncomfortable. Our water glasses were constantly being refilled before they even got low. There’s a fine line between being attentive and being intrusive, and they repeatedly crossed it. At one point, they asked to take my husband’s plate while he was still eating. To make matters worse, when he was finishing his martini, the waiter asked in a condescending tone if he planned to finish the last sip. It was shockingly rude.
While most of us enjoyed our entrees, my mother’s veal chop was very undercooked, which was another disappointment.
For a bill that totaled over $500, we expected far better service and an atmosphere where we felt valued and appreciated. Unfortunately, that was not the case.
Overall, the poor service overshadowed the food. If you’re looking for a place to enjoy a relaxed and celebratory dinner with family, I strongly recommend...

Now, as a happily married couple, it has become our go-to spot for celebrations and family gatherings.
