Kabab Paradise — Restaurant in Teaneck Township

OK so everyone that knows me understands that I’m an extremely picky eater, especially with meat. When I first heard about the opening of this location I was excited to try it! Of course during Covid-19 the seating was unavailable but the staff made it very accommodating allowing us to wait in the resteraunt for our food.

Upon arrival, the inside was extremely clean! They had brand new interior design and a public clean bathroom. On your right is a foundation soda machine as well as homemade afghan desserts available for purchase (I highly suggest you try these). Now the hard part.. the menu. There was truly too many good things to choose from! I didn’t know what I wanted to try first. Wings..kebab.. gyros and more. They have a vast variety of fancy gourmet burgers and fries especially! I took the plunge and opted for the Neptune burger which features a juicy patty, mushrooms, swiss, pickles and 2 onion rings. I also stuck to classic fries for my first time. (You have an option of just the burger or a combo which includes fries and a fountain soda). My total was extremely reasonable for the combo! I also added an order of their famous Afghan creamrolls!

My favorite part... trying the burger really shocked me. Im not a burger person. This really outdid my expectation! The burger was cooked perfectly and the onion rings were an awesome “crunch factor” to the burger! I think I would try fancy french fries next time but I was too indecisive! All in all between the friendly and curtious staff/owner Ali, this place is a 10/10. Cant wait to visit soon and bring friends!

The owners son named “SAL” was very disrespectful. When I went to pickup my order, it was not crowded at all and I asked how long would it take to add an order of spicy honey ranch fries and was told by this rude guy SAL that it would it take 15 mints. His father said it doesnt take that long and it should be ready in 5 mints. He started talking back to his father very rudely and at the same time was very disrespectful to me upon asking about his rude behavior. He told me to get out of the store and dont come here. SAL is not mature enough to handle customers and should be working back in the kitchen. Person working on the front end is basically representing the restaraunt and with that kind of attitude is not acceptable. Person standing at the register, yelling at his father along with the customer is the peak of absurdity .
