La Juguería — Restaurant in Teaneck Township

I went to their grand opening in Teaneck, NJ to try it out and overall support a Hispanic business 🙏🏼 however, during the opening they weren’t organized at all for the free açaí bowl offer and made the waiting time a bit longer than expected. The person working in the front didn’t know how to operate the machine at the pace it needed to go. The açaí bowl itself wasn’t as great it was just okay but you can tell it was made very rushed. I got my husband a breakfast sandwich and that was good. Overall the staff is great but they just weren’t prepared enough and didn’t make an impressionable...

Ordered the free açaí bowl and a bacon egg and cheese. The bacon egg and cheese was pretty good. However, the açaí bowl, even free, wasn’t.

Overall, the staff was nice, but they definitely seemed unprepared. It looked like the girl working the cash register didn’t know how to operate it.

Also, I got the impression they were more focused on filming and marketing the opening for social media than the actual service they were offering.

I feel like the 5 star reviews on here are from their friends and family lol
