Didn't have the best experience my first time here. The Asics I went in for had not actually arrived at the store and was still at the airport but being advertised as being available in store and online. I went in store because I worked less than 5 miles from their shop and couldn't believe what they were charging for shipping. I've shipped shoes cross the US(Cali), about 2,879.8 miles for the same price using Priority Mail. That wasn't my biggest issue however.
While there I inquired about the Cabin Fevers that were releasing that weekend and the attendants negativity in stating I would probably not be able to buy them there was very off putting. Then he tells me to my face that employees get first dibs and since the stock being sent was so small I should just forget it or try somewhere else. This is beyond poor customer service and is just poor form. Anyone that's been buying shoes for a minute knows every sneaker boutique big and small puts shoes aside for staff first so why would you need to put it out there like that in a customers face?
They should call West NYC sometime and learn how to speak to customers. West NYC was actually the collaborator on the shoe with Saucony so if anyone could have been arrogant it was them but they were not. Very pleasant attitude and extremely helpful. I ended up buying the shoe from sneaker politics at retail without too much hassle.
Now if they have something I want I just order it online from somewhere else. Packers - order something from END. Clothing sometime. That's how you treat customers. That's why they have over 100,000 followers on just one social media avenue alone and that's why from the US to the UK and beyond they are hailed by customers as one of the best shops in the entire world. Read moreHonestly the worst sneaker-buying experience I've ever had. I ordered a pair of limited release New Balances. It took them several days to process and finally ship my order. I finally received the box only to find the wrong pair of shoes inside! These were a cheaper pair, with a different name, colorway, and UPC code.
Shocked, I called customer service over and over again to try to get a response. Don't worry, there is no voicemail and they never answer the phone. I finally received an email two days later apologizing and saying that they would replace these limited release sneakers with the correct ones. I return the shoes and wait for the correct pair of sneakers only to be issued a refund with no explanation.
After emailing them several times and calling them over and over I finally got a hold of their "customer service" team. They told me that they never had my sneaker in stock. They 1) lied about their inventory online, 2) processed my order and charged me despite not having my shoes, 3) knowlingly sent me the wrong pair of shoes, 4) did not correct their mistake until I hounded them about a replacement, 5) lied to me about replacing them with the correct pair of limited run sneakers, 6) processed a refund without telling me the sneakers I ordered (and that are now selling for 2x as much on ebay) would not be replaced, and then 7) gave me attitude when I was angry after finding out that they never had the sneakers and had lied to me throughout the entire process.
I've contacted New Balance directly to tell them about the damage this boutique is doing to their brand. I'm not sure how this shop remains in business but take your money anywhere else. They are dishonest, rude, and will avoid you and their mistakes...
Read moreI have received absolutely no customer service from day one of placing my order. I am now trying to return a pair of shoes that I asked to be cancelled from my order, per their faqs page I could cancel my order (which I requested minuets after placing it) because i needed to place a new order with the correct items. I doubt I will receive communication from their orders team even for the return because the lack of communication has been zero. I’m really sad to be left in the dark with this company as I thought they had cool things and would have loved to have a better experience, it was my first time ordering from here, my next step is to file a complaint with the BBB. Super sad about this, at this point it’s been more than a week since I placed my order, many emails sent, and no reply whatsoever.
They also do not pack their shipments with care, boxes were received damaged with no stuffing in the box to protect the items during shipment. They really need a new customer service manager.
