I visited a Subway for a 6-inch sandwich, and the experience was disappointing from the start. When I arrived, the employee took a long time to come out from the back, seemingly distracted by her phone. I ordered a 6-inch chicken teriyaki on Italian herb and cheese bread with sweet onion sauce, and asked for the chicken to be double-cooked before adding it to the sandwich. She seemed annoyed by this request. I then asked to add bacon, and she gave me just one piece, claiming two pieces were stuck together. After separating them, it turned out to be only one slice.
When I went to pay, the total came to $12.67. I requested a receipt and, upon reviewing it, noticed I was charged an extra $2.00. I pointed out that I had not requested extra chicken, but the employee insisted I had. She went back and forth with me, then stated give me the sandwich back I will remove the extra chicken.
This was by far the worst service I’ve ever experienced at Subway. I will not be returning to this location in Teaneck, and I want others to be aware of the unprofessional service I received.
Then after all of that my chicken was under cooked which is why I insisted for the chicken to be...
Read moreI love coming to this Subway on Cedar Lane. The place is nice and clean.
Though I mostly order salads, I never get stale bread when I do get sandwiches. I always have my bread toasted; don't know if that changes things.
Try the salads; I wholeheartedly recommend them. The salads are always super fresh. It's basically a sandwich without the bread. My usual is double breast of chicken, spinach (no lettuce), black olives, some hot peppers, extra sweet peppers, yellow shredded cheese, Feta cheese (new ingredient I saw just last week), avocado, and Chipotle Southwest sauce.
I have never gotten rude or discourteous service from the ladies working there. Now I beam a big smile to the ladies and they beam big smiles right back and we practically scream "HOLA!" to one another. I speak Spanish with them, because I choose to and not because I felt like I had to; they speak...
Read moreThe lady who prepared my sandwich was very reluctant to add any toppings apart from lettuce and tomatoes. She only added very little quantities of some of the toppings when I asked. She also added very little dressing/sauce in spite of me asking to put increase the amount. She quickly wrapped it up and looked at me as if she wanted me to pay and get out quickly and stop asking her to add toppings or the sauce.
For the super expensive price of the sandwich that is almost double the cost from the past I felt cheated at how little was served. I have had much better experience with previous management or other...
