Lev's Bakery Shop — Restaurant in Tecumseh

I have been to Lev's several times and the baked goods are just average.The cookies I purchased recently had no flavor and tasted just like vegetable shortening. I would have forgiven them for that mistake but the woman who waited on me was so unfriendly. I smiled at her and all she did was frown and stare at me. I tried small talk because I am friendly. No way was I going to be treated warmly. I hope it was just a bad day for her but please don't take it out on your customers. I won't be back ever. I will go to Tecumseh Bakery...

Have been here only about 3 times. I last tried calling a few days before Fat Tuesday about 4 years ago. The older lady on the phone seemed a bit loud, boisterous and couldn't understand what I was asking. Frustrated, I just hung up the phone vowing I wouldn't return. Well, I gave it another try. Ever since the previous owner owned this little bakery in town, they have always made, to me, the best donuts anywhere. I know there the new donut shops around where you can get all sorts of toppings and stuff but if you want a GENUINE donut, go to Lev's. Ever since I was little, there was always some excitement getting donuts from Lev's. To this day, there still is excitement about getting Lev's. Great job to the new owners keeping up the tradition and continuing to make great donuts...
