Musgrove is a coffee house with very good coffee, tea, and sandwiches, fine service (Grace remembers customers' names which is appreciated). One of the secrets to great coffee places (speaking as a former restaurant manager) is having music that is quiet enough to allow for quiet reading and good conversations. While the loud music volume was a longtime concern at Musgrove (used to be loud, even with earplugs in), management did thankfully act on this concern. During my last visit, the music volume was low enough for those wishing to relax or study to do so; but still present for those who enjoy music while they visit. I have upgraded my rating to four stars. One remaining issue is that some of the furniture at Musgrove is uncomfortable and worn out, and needs updating--something I trust that management will do once it is feasible to do so. Ā Ā Ā Read moreThe mint herbal tea that they have here is horrible. Anyone who really loves non-caffeinated herbal tea is probably frustrated by people who don't drink a lot of herbal tea thinking that everyone likes mint tea. Just offer some chamomile tea. What's so hard about that?
Also, the system of not calling out a person's name when they're order is completed is confusing to everyone standing in line 'cuz what happens when someone ordered the same thing? It just gets really mixed up. Each order should be attached to a name. Your system would run a lot better. I like that you're trying to offer something out of the ordinary but I think your system needs some dialing in.
PS. You can buy a whole pound of organic chamomile on Amazon for about $20. If you put two tablespoons of that in a filter bag, a chamomile tea drinker would be an absolute heaven at your...

I noticed it was luk warm not hot and no where near hot. so I took it back inside and asked the gentleman if he wouldn't mind putting it in the microwave for me. He informed me he didn't have a microwave and that he would give me hot water to make it hot. I said to him doesn't that dilute the coffee. he then poured more of the same coffee in my cup and I walked away it wasn't hot it was sitting there for a while the worst coffee I ever had. I will never ever step foot in this place again and I didn't even ask for my money back. they didn't make it fresh wasn't hot and had it in some kind of flask not...
