What can I say, I loved this place so much I'm at a loss as to what to say to do it justice, but I'll do my best. First off, let me apologize for the lack of photos, we felt so comfortable here, and I forgot my intent to do a review. Let's start with the proprietors of this local gem; Alison and Arlo were absolutely delightful. They were welcoming and friendly, and their pride and care in all they do and offer made all the difference. This is a scratch bakery, folks! There is obvious intent in every ingredient, and it's evident in every bite. We dined in and took more home. We tried a number of offerings, the cinnamon roll, and feta and spinach croissant and multi grain sourdough bread (sliced while you wait) were all stand outs but am completely confident in recommending anything that peaks your interest, you won't be disappointed. The interiors were bright, comfortable, and welcoming. My only regret is not being able to give a mark higher than 5 stars. My takeaway; This bakery is totally worth a visit, so goto Tecumseh, stop in and say hello to Arlo and Alison and take in an experience that will leave you with a smile! Looking forward to our return!

Homemade bread and pastries are such a treat! Tecumseh Bread and Pastry has more than that though! It was very hard to choose. I landed on a regular croissant and a raspberry cream cheese pastry. The croissant was flaky and crispy on the outside and buttery soft of the inside. The pastry had plenty of sweet cream cheese and raspberry. I like that the kitchen is open so you can see in. The woman at the counter greeted me and was patient with me while I ogled the many delicious looking treats in the case. She greeted a local woman by name and sold her the last of the spinach feta mini quiche. She even gave me a recommendation for another local spot, the British Pantry Tea Garden, which I really appreciated. I’d definitely return.

I thought I would get to the bakery in time to sample some of their wares, but it seems they sell out of most of their bread quite early. By the time I arrived, there wasn’t much to choose from. That being said, the cinnamon rolls and feta pastries I was able to purchase were delicious. The savory cheese pastries were especially good. I’d love to get their bread someday, but it’ll be difficult considering the distance. Judging by what I tried, however, this is a good bakery if you can get there in time.

Discovered the bakery, and owners Arlo & Alisyn, when passing through Tecumseh about 3 years ago. I can't say enough about how wonderful they and their products are! They never disappoint! Love everything we try! The baguettes, the Miche (bread), pretzels, danish...the croissants are "to die for", best I've had outside of Europe!!! If you can't get there soon after opening, call-in your order the day before or first thing the morning of because everything goes quickly!! (Especially the baguettes!) In fact, they typically sell out of everything and close by noon (instead of 13:00). I just wish they were closer to home, I drive 45 minutes each way to get to them; obviously they are worth...
